“Aprendan todo lo que puedan, porque este país tiene muchas oportunidades y principalmente aprender el idioma inglés (aunque a veces nos molestamos), debemos poner nuestro granito de arena, no lo piensen como beneficio para las personas que hablan inglés, para los nativos de acá sino para el beneficio de nosotros”.

The name "Adela" means "that of noble origin", which is related to strength, courage, equity, and highness. Adela Ignacio Pastor is the reflection of these characteristics.
Adela for us is an inspiring woman with a helping spirit, a wonderful wife and a dedicated, strong mother. That is why she is our special guest for Mother's day.
Originally from Guerrero, Mexico, she came to the United States approximately 23 years ago and for her this country "has been a very good experience, it has given me many things and I have learned a lot."
She has two children “the oldest is anmed Melisa, 19 years old, who is going to graduate from High School this year. She wants to study to be a physical therapist.
COMUNIDAD | COMMUNITY My other son is 17-year-old, Victor who has Angelman Syndrome.
My son does not speak, but he communicates very well with signs, groans, looks, thus creating his own language with which we understand each other very well. At first not knowing what to do when you are facing a situation that you do not know, will always generate fear, then time passes, that fear is removed and all things begin to be much easier”. With her husband Juan Carlos Maldonado who has been her great support, she has been married for 21 years, a great example especially with the circumstances of today's marriages that are quite difficult “yes, so many separations, so many problems, but the key part of it is knowing how to understand problems and try to solve them ”.
Adela has also been working for 4 years with theThrift Store Palmetto Animal League, where they help animals through donations, “they are all donations, just as everyone who
works here is volunteers, they donate their time, donate items and with this money the animals are taken care of ”.
She is the Hispanic face that welcomes us with a smile every time we enter the Thrift Store of Palmetto Animal League, -although, these days masks do not let you see smiles-, you can feel her energy that radiates happiness, love and dedication for what she does “even if she has the mask, it shows in one’s eyes when a person is smiling ”she tells us with the smile that characterizes her. We hope that if you have not visited this store, you will go and enjoy the experience of buying good, nice and frugal things while helping the animals. Adela leaves us two important messages.

LA CURIOSA HISTORIA DE LA CREACIÓN DEL DÍA DE LA GUERRA DE LAS GALAXIAS
El 4 de mayo de 1979 después del estreno de la primera película de la Guerra de las Galaxias (que fue toda una conmoción mundial, atrayendo miles de fanáticos), el diario británico London Evening News publicó una nota de felicitación que le enviaban los compañeros y miembros del Partido Conservador a Margaret Thatcher por su nuevo cargo como ministra del país. En esta nota aparecía la frase: "May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie. Congratulations." que en español traduciría “Que la fuerza te acompañe Maggie. Felicitaciones". Utilizando el “fourth - 4th” como un acrónimo de “force”, que significa “fuerza”.
Desde ese momento los fanáticos comenzaron a celebrar el 4 de mayo como el Día Mundial de Star Wars. En 2011, Toronto, Canadá decidió durante este día hacer una maratón de las películas de Star Wars y a partir de ese año, se realiza esta maratón de cine en las salas de “The Rec Room Toronto”.
Desde el 2013, Walt Disney Company celebra oficialmente este día con varios eventos y festividades de Star Wars en Disneyland y Walt Disney World.
El 4 de mayo 2015, los astronautas de la Estación Espacial Internacional vieron Star Wars.
