Teacher Professional Leave 2012 - Information Sessions Teacher Professional Leave (TPL) provides time for teachers, either individually, or as part of a team, to conduct an enquiry into their own practice, using the e5 Instructional Model as a reference point to develop a deeper understanding of their classroom practice. A minimum of 25 to a maximum of 50 days may be sought by each teacher applicant, and these days are awarded to individuals on the basis of a successful application. A successful teacher begins their participation in November of the year they receive TPL, and has until December of the following year to complete their TPL Previous recipients of Teacher Professional Leave are not eligible to apply for the 2012round.
Applications opened 31 May 2011 and close 21 July 2011.
