Lakehead University Residence is a fun, safe and convenient place to live. Our Residence Life Team is dedicated to organizing events, activities and excursions, allowing you to get involved in campus life, become friends with students from other countries and programs, and explore the city. Take advantage of the supports and 24-hour security Residence offers.

Lakehead University offers many options for dining on campus, so that you can enjoy meals and snacks that are both nutritious and convenient. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten free, and International food options are available.

Students in our dormitory-style residence halls automatically receive a full meal plan that includes all-access dining in the Residence Dining Hall (unlimited access during hours of operation) + $800.00 CAD declining balance (like a debit card that can be used at any Aramark-operated food outlet).

Residence Dining Hall - Open 7 days a week, ‘all-you-care-to-eat’ food stations include a rotating menu featuring nutritious local, regional and international specialities; home-cooked entrées; made-to-order grilled meals; fresh salad & soup bar; ready-made sandwich & panini bar; pizza station; fresh fruit & baked goods; assorted beverages & desserts.

Main Dining Hall - Food Court style setting serving made-to-order grilled meals, Bento sushi, ready-to-serve sandwiches, salads, soups, Pizza Pizza, snacks, and a rotating menu of International specialities and flavours.

Dan’s Diner - Late night snacks, located right in Bartley Residence: sandwiches, nachos, gourmet hotdogs, desserts, and beverages.
