GAINING CONFIDENCE THROUGH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE

Lakehead has given me a lot of hands-on experience throughout my degree, especially through the co-operative education program, in which I was a Client Advisor with RBC. I loved the experience so much that I worked with them even after my co-op placement ended. The topics I learned about in my classes have really been applicable to my life and helped shape me for the future. I would have never been able to start my own business confidently without the education and support that I received from Lakehead, including mentorship from the Ingenuity Ascend Accelerator Program. My degree was amazing, but it has truly been the community and connections I formed at Lakehead that will be the greatest things I take away from my education.”
