My professors implement the word ‘supportive’ in tangible ways, and respond to emails promptly. They never hesitate to offer advice based on their real experience. All of this is to help us internalize the idea that building a positive and supportive learning environment for students is the foundation of being a teacher. All of the assignments are related to the real world, and we may use them in our placements and future career. During my placements in Canadian classrooms, I met a friendly, kind, and responsible associate teacher who teaches a wonderful class of students. Knowing them, teaching them, and having meaningful conversations with them is the best part of my practicum.”
