Recognized At Toyo International Film Festival

One of our professors invited us to participate in Toyo University’s International Film Festival in Japan. In our film, we created a whole story around a character who was from Ecuador. We wrote the script, drew the storyboard, and we filmed everything ourselves using university equipment. We also got advice and feedback from our professors. Even though our film is funny, we really put our hearts into it. Lakehead’s program allows me to explore not only my passion for film, but also to learn about television, and other media like radio or podcasting–and gives me the resources and hands-on opportunities to do it. I’m also enrolled in a Business certificate with my Media degree because I want to start my own production company one day.”
