Lakehead University’s exciting new partnership with Trinity School of Medicine provides Lakehead students with a clear, defined path to becoming a practicing MD.

Lakehead University’s Bora Laskin Faculty of Law provides the highest standard of legal education. Our Juris Doctor program focuses on the realities of living and working in the North. We are small. With only 65 students every year, we take full advantage of our small class size. You will receive a personal education, where learning is hands on and your professors are available to you. We offer unique opportunities for you to hone your legal skills at all stages of the program. Lakehead law graduates are ready to serve their communities as skilled advocates and admitted to the Ontario bar without requiring articles of clerkship.

Our Faculty of Law has three mandates that guide our delivery of an innovative practice-ready focused curriculum: ç Aboriginal and Indigenous Law ç Natural Resources and Environmental Law ç Small Firm and Solo Practice with the Integrated Practice Curriculum (IPC)

Open to graduates of Lakehead, including international students, Trinity School of Medicine offers its students the opportunity to become licensed medical doctors in both Canada and the United States.

Along with priority application review, a waived application fee, and scholarships exclusively available to Lakehead students, Trinity School of Medicine provides a streamlined admissions process.

Like Lakehead University, Trinity School of Medicine recognizes the value of hands-on experience, which is why students begin working directly with patients beginning their very first term.
