About Lakeland L akeland B aseball
Welcome to Lakeland Community College, the first college in Ohio founded by a vote of the people. As a college, we take great pride in providing students with the education and training needed to earn a degree, start a career, upgrade job skills or complete the first two years of college education. In addition, it is essential for the college to provide students with opportunities to enhance their college experiences through participation in athletics or on-campus student organizations.

Beverage Jr., E.D.M. President
Scott M. Barlow, Athletic Director and Athletic Facility Manager
“Academic success for every student-athlete is the ultimate goal of the athletic department at Lakeland Community College,” says athletic director Scott Barlow. “We believe that success in athletics can support success in the classroom and, ultimately, a successful life.”
“We are proud of the fact that we led the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference in academic award winners in 200809. We also had two NJCAA Academic All-Americans and an NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-American.” Barlow was named Lakeland’s athletic director during the summer of 2000. He brought with him an extensive educational and practical background in teaching, coaching, and administration.
