1. To access Career Coach on the Lake Land
College home page, look for the gray bar and click on “Explore Careers.” 2. Choose an assessment type to get started.
You have two options: a quick six-question assessment or a sixty-question one. 3. Based on your assessment, you can browse careers or areas of study that align well with your skills and interests. You can also see all kinds of interesting information, like the pay rates and annual job openings for careers in this region. 4. To save your assessment information as well as careers and areas of study you may be interested in, you can create an account with just your email and a password. This way you can come back and pick up right where you left off! 5. You can even create a résumé using preset structure and phrasing suggestions with the awesome résumé builder tool, which you can save and come back to in your account. 6. Don’t want to take an assessment? That’s okay too! You can still browse the careers and areas of study, but they won’t be aligned to your interests.
