It is located directly downstream from Paugus Bay which is Lake Winnipesaukee and connects by a one mile segment of the Winnipesaukee River through the Center of Laconia to Winnisquam Lake. Popular activities on the lake include boating, water sports and fishing for rainbow trout, lake trout, bass, pickerel, perch and more! There is a multitude of winter activities including skiing at the nearby Gunstock Ski Area, cross country trails, snowmobiling, ice skating, ice fishing, tobogganing, and winter hiking.
