#CastleViewCottage is located in the low-tax town of Moultonborough along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee with 108' of water frontage and sits on a .33 acre waterfront lot and includes a .4 acre back lot. Expansive views look across the water to the Ossipee Mountain range where you have a beautiful view of Castle in the Clouds. Not too far off shore is Randall Island, a small island that hosts just a couple trees, it protects the waterfront from boat traffic creating your own private swimming area. A newer 30x6 seasonal dock stretches out over the sandy waters off the newly restored retaining wall and the lakeside patio. Enjoy fishing off the dock or jump in and swim out to a potential swim platform or mooring. This dead-end street is great for walking up the road to the street PO Boxes. The road is full of nature where most waterfront homes own their back lots as well. The leaching field system installed in 1998 is located on the back lot. Retreat to the cottage and watch the sunrise each morning from the covered, screened in porch while the loons parade by the shore. The living room is open to the kitchen and vaulted exposing beautiful wood beams and ceiling. All one floor living with three bedrooms, a full bath and a kitchen fully equipped with appliances and granite counter tops. Wellmaintained to use "as is" or build your dream lake house.

We loved waking up in the morning to a beautiful sunrise mirroring over the still lake waters, we would watch the sun come up while sipping coffee on the sunporch.
•
Morning ski sessions were the best with the lake-like glass.
•
Floating out on the tubes and swimming out to the island was always great and safe to so because the boats stay out past Randall Island so it is like our own private swim area.
•
The loons would parade by showing off their babies each season while we watched from the perched beach area along the shoreline
•
It was always great for kids and elders to come use the property because of the easy access in and out of the house, down to the water and into the water with the sandy bottom
•
Facing East we were able to enjoy many warm days on the lake with calm waters because the winds prevail from the NW so most of the time we are lucky to enjoy the calm waters and take the boat out without the wind limiting us as it does on the West facing properties.
New Hampshire’s largest and most famous lake, Winnipesaukee has been a tourist destination for more than a century. The Native American name for the lake means either “smile of the Great Spirit” or “beautiful water in a high place.” The third largest body of water in New England, it is surrounded by three mountain ranges. The wooded shoreline and crystal water of this spring fed lake make it a popular summer destination. It is one of the best lake trout and salmon fishing waters in New England, and is ringed with numerous villages and towns that offer everything from boardwalks and waterslides to public beaches and art galleries. All communities have public parks and docks.
