Campton is located in the foothills of the White Mountains and has a population of approximately 3,333 residents. The area includes four villages: Blair, Campton Hollow, Lower Campton and West Campton. The town has three covered bridges, including Blair Bridge, which is 292 feet, 10 inches long, making it the second longest of those entirely within the state. Campton has 23 trails in the vicinity, including 16 for mountain biking and 5 hiking trails. These trails range from 0.1 to 31.4 miles in length. The most popular trails are Welch Mountain - Dickey Mountain Loop Trail, Beebe River Ride and Campton Bog. Found within Campton is the beautiful sub-division of Waterville Estates where homeowners enjoy luxury amenities and the community shares Campton Mountain Ski Area. Students attend Campton Elementary School through grade 8 then move on to Plymouth Regional High School in nearby Plymouth.
