Life is sweet

With a standard menu of 10 flavors, Ozark Cookie Co. in Camdenton has just what you need to satisfy that sweet tooth. Husband and wife team, Allison and Tim Bass own the businesses which opened in February.

We opened up Ozark Cookie Company with the intention of bringing back local small town shopping. We wanted our storefront to feel cozy and extra special. Every detail was thoroughly thought out to make this feel like a unique experience for everyone,” Allison said.

Originally from the Chicago area, Allison attended pastry school at the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago in 2005 and has worked in the baking industry ever since.

“Baking is a lifelong passion that I finally get to put into an actual business,” she said.

They specialize in gourmet cookies to include the following flavors which are always on the menu: Classic Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, Strawberry Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Red Velvet Cheesecake, Almond Cherry Pecan, Caramel Apple, Caramel Butter Pecan and Oatmeal Raisin Cinnamon Bun and Peanut Butter Cup. Seasonal flavors change every month.

“Our cookies in itself are an item that cannot be found anywhere else,” Allison said. “The size and flavor combinations are completely unique to Ozark Cookie Company. Every cookie is individually packaged for freshness and makes the perfect grab and go treat.”

Cookie and coffee catering is available where customers can purchase fresh brewed coffee from Firefly Valley Farms (a local roaster) to go along with a cookie assortment for meetings or special occasions. They can ship anywhere in the U.S. as well and offer gift packaging for any occasion.
