Magic Dragon street Meet

April 30-May 2, Bagnell Dam Strip

The 33rd annual Magic Dragon Street Meet will be held on the Bagnell Dam Strip. This show brings all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles to be judged in a variety of categories. A maximum of 1,000 vehicles are permitted to enter the show. Show vehicles are limited to Rat Rods, Street Rods, Muscle Cars, Street Machines and motorcycles. The Bagnell Dam Strip is closed to traffic as cars line up and down the highway. Show hours are April 30 from 12-5 p.m., May 1 from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., and May 2 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Awards will be presented at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The Lake Ozark Daybreak Rotary is selling raffle tickets for a 2021 Chevrolet Camaro for $20 each. The drawing will be held during the show. A maximum number of 2,500 tickets will be sold. For tickets, call Ethan at 573-202-1066.

corvette car show

May 1, 10 a.m. Margaritaville Lake Resort

The Lake of the Ozarks Corvette Club is hosting their first annual show. Registration is from 7:30-9:30 a.m., the show opens at 10 a.m., judging will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and trophy presentations will be at 2 p.m. Free to the public.

Hot summer nights

May 14, 5-10 p.m., Bagnell Dam Strip

Hot Summer Nights will be held on the Bagnell Dam Strip once a month throughout the summer.

They will be: May 14, Bagnell Dam 90th Birthday Bash; June 11, American Hot Rods & Blown Coupes; July 9, Muscle Cars - All American Speed; August 13, Missouri Bicentennial 200th Birthday - Best Dam Birthday Bash; September 10, Salute to Frontline Workers and First Responders. Anyone is welcome to park their car, truck or motorcycle along the Bagnell Dam Strip. Spectators are welcome to walk the Strip to take a look at many makes and models of vehicles. The event is free to everyone.

May 15, 5-8:30 p.m., Camden County Museum

A Cars & Bikes Cruise-in will be held at the Camden County’s

Museum from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Donation is $10 per car with registration from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Trophies will be awarded to the top three cars (no classes) at 1:30 p.m. A People’s Choice award will be handed out based on votes by entrants/visitors for $1 per vote.

A 50/50 drawing will be held and given at the end of the show. Tickets are $1/each or $5 for six, $10 for an arm’s length or $20 for a car’s length.
