The lake level was 659.1, generation of 37,500 cubic feet per second (CFS) throughout the week for a level of 659.0 by the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 75 degrees. Truman Lake was at the 716.0 level.

To Note

The Lower Lake is from the dam to the 22-mile mark; Mid-Lake is from the 22- to 38-mile mark, the Upper Osage is from the 38-mile mark to the Route 65 Bridge.

Bagnell Dam spillway/Osage River

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair flipping jigs and creature baits in the creeks. Crappie: Fair on jigs along the riprap.

Lower Lake

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Good on shaky head soft plastics and wacky worms along docks on secondary points. Crappie: Fair trolling bluffs and open water with crankbaits.

Gravois

Water clarity: Stained on the upper end and clear on the lower end. Black bass: Good on wacky rigged stick worms, shaky head worms, topwater lures and jigs along docks in spawning pockets. Crappie: Fair on jigs 6 to 12 feet deep in brush along flats.

Mid-Lake

Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Good on shaky head finesse worms along main and secondary points. Crappie: Good on jigs 8 feet deep around docks in coves. White bass: Good on small swimbaits along windy points.

Grand Glaize Upper Osage

Water clarity: Muddy. Black bass: Fair on soft plastic baits along secondary points and in backs of coves. Crappie: Fair on jigs and minnows 8 feet deep around docks. Catfish: Good tight-lining cut shad and prepared baits.

Truman Dam spillway

Water clarity: Stained. Crappie: Good on jigs and minnows along the rock riprap. White bass: Good on jigs and jerkbaits along the rock riprap. Catfish: Fair on fresh shad.

Water clarity: Stained. Black bass: Fair on jigs and Zara Spooks along main lake points. Crappie: Fair on jigs and minnows 12 to 15 feet deep over brush piles 20 feet deep or trolling crankbaits in open water.

Niangua

Water clarity: Muddy. Black bass: Good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, Texas-rigged plastic craws, topwater lures and shaky head worms halfway back in coves. Crappie: Good on jigs and minnows 1 to 8 feet deep along gravel banks. Catfish: Fair on chicken or beef livers.
