EVENT Eldon Turkey Festival

Hometown festival brings food, vendors and entertainment to downtown Eldon.

The 35th annual Turkey Festival will be held in downtown Eldon Sept. 25. Shopping, food and entertainment is held all day.

Vendors will be lined up along the streets with homemade crafts, decor, jewelry and clothing. You can start your holiday shopping early with the selection of baby and children’s clothing, hair accessories, blankets, purses, sandals, spa and skin care products and candles. Home décor and gifts, quilts, metal décor, kitchen gadgets, wreaths, sand art, greeting cards, bird houses, crocheted and hand-sewn items, fine art, semi-precious stones and even business card holders are just a few of the items you’ll find.

Food vendors will be serving all kinds of treats including the famous smoked turkey legs. Fried alligator, frog legs, catfish, funnel cakes, BBQ, kettle corn and other carnival food will be for sale.

A beer garden, children’s carnival, bounce houses and other activities will also be held.
