Food vendors are also set up It started out years ago as a pigeon swap. Jacob’s Cave owner Frank Hurley used to raise pigeons, at one time having hundreds of them. He decided to sell them and each year the meet got bigger and bigger. The swap meet often has animals such as ducks, geese, and rabbits but vendors also sell tools, crafts, and antiques making it the perfect spot to find something “new.” Cost is $10/carload to enter. The swap meet is open from daylight to dark. Gates to the grounds are open from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Visitors to the swap meet will receive a discount for admission into Jacob’s Cave.
