Floyd Cooper Day: Storytime with Tameka Fryer Brown (May 6)

Floyd Cooper Day is a newly established literary holiday dedicated to collectively reading books by the late Floyd Cooper, the pioneering author-illustrator who portrayed authentic African-American experiences. Pinkalicious the Musical (Through May 8) Based on the popular book by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann, this is the tale of Pinkalicious, who can’t stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Pints For Parker (May 7) This Blood Drive and Plant Sale will benefit the Pounding for Parker Foundation.
