organized
in
1978,
the
Gilford
Community
Band
is
a
concert
band
 sponsored
by
the
Gilford
Recreation
Commission
to
provide
entertainment
for
the
public
and
a
 venue
for
area
musicians
to
perform.
The
band
consists

volunteer
musicians
from
 throughout
the
Lakes
Region
with
membership
exceeding
