“Ye’ Olde” Cedar Lake Academy reunion will be held June 2–4, 2023, for the alumni and schoolmates of 1973 and earlier at Great Lakes Adventist Academy, Cedar Lake, Michigan. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 34th session of the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists will be held at the Cedar Lake Church in Cedar Lake, Mich., Sept. 24, 2023, with the first meeting called at 9:00 a.m. Reports of the previous five years will be rendered, proposed constitutional changes may be considered, the election of conference officers, departmental directors and members of the executive committee will take place, and any other business will be transacted which may properly come before the session. Delegates are those duly elected by the various churches of the conference and delegates-at-large as provided in the constitution. Each church in the Michigan Conference is entitled to one delegate for its organization, and one additional delegate for each 100 members or major fraction thereof, determined by the membership as of Dec. 31, 2022. As provided by the bylaws, the organizing committee (composed of one delegate from each church, plus one additional delegate for each 500 members or major fraction thereof, as of Dec. 31, 2022) will meet on Sept. 23. The organizing committee meeting will begin with vespers at 7:00 p.m. at the Cedar Lake Church. classical music in live performances with a first-class orchestra.
