The proposed utopian settlement is a cure to any war-plagued state - a convergence for people from all walks of life who share similar sentiments. It aims to rehabilitate and lead them towards a sustainable living with the multifunctional hub as its focus CONCEPT a sense of being sheltered in the womb of earth with water around. METHODOL OGY The outcome is the demarc ation of the padithurai i nto Domestic & Ritualistic . The padithurai for rituals is purposefully kept proximal to the kiosk with i ntermed iate platforms for functional requirements . Better sight lines. Gracious entry- point. Transit- friendly spatial organisation. Strong entry image & gathering place. Pavilion - centrepiece for gathering events & festivals. Phase plan to allow for future growth & economic viability over time. Creating landmark destinations to organise crowd & increase overall experience of space.

METHODOL OGY Pil ot study Vaishnavite temple town Sri rangam, Tamil nadu. Pattern evolution and ad verse impacts development evaluated . TYPICAL TEMPLE LAYOUT This Rajagopuram expresses more of structure & elements such as the pilasters, entablatures, little pavilions - salai, rather than sculptural dominance – an expression in Raja gopurams of Kancheepuram, Tiruvannamalai.

SRIRANGAM TEMPLE LAYOUT Atypical arrangement of the Gopurams – Non- linear axis – added in an unplanned manner, against ‘Agama's’. Adding to these, the sanctum sanctorum (garbhagriha) faces the south.
