M AISON TT Maison TT is a unique small house located in the Da Nang city. This is a project I enjoyed very much because of the way of creating a continuous core space indoors, and at the same time the local materials of the place. The idea throughout the building is to create a space by spiraling continuously, traffic interwoven around the house. From there, bring natural light and wind into space, helping the house has its own new life.

V ILLA LP Villa LP is located in the suburbs of Hanoi. Set on a gentle slope towards the lake, this villa is surrounded by trees. Works bring a feeling of closeness to nature. Lightness pervades every element of the design. The choice of material is simple yet robust.

Concrete, glass and wood are all carefully selected to match with the hues that are naturally found in the surrounding landscape so that the building gradually blends into its surroundings. The appearance of the villa blends in harmoniously with the natural surroundings and is perfectly integrated to the local landscape.

M AISON Q Maison Q is located in the capital Hanoi of Vietnam. The land of the house is relatively small 3x12m. The house is designed for a family of four (a young couple and two young children). We want to create a creative and modern space, facilitate daily activities, and at the same time create the link between functional rooms. The facade of the building uses curved steel mesh to create a clear space from the inside while shielding the westward sun for the entire house. With long and narrow spaces, the arrangement of the floor to create gaps in the space to make the most of light and ventilation is an important factor in the building. Simple, creative, and flexible furniture that is suitable for the overall design and workspace.

VILLA U T Maison UT is a semi-detached villa located in an urban area. Our project aims to design a green, modern house to meet the needs of a family of six people, including a married couple, their two children, their elderly mother, and a serving-maid while following the strict planning rules in the area. An eco-friendly solution is what we are looking at for the intervention of the building. The intervention must be carefully considered to create a unique, personalized facade and subtly contrast with the surrounding area without violating the renovating guideline. All the pre-existing decorative moldings were removed and replaced with geometrical elements to give the facade a more modern and more straightforward architectural language. The use of vertical timbers as a louver covering the facade of the house adds to its unique look. It provides the house with more privacy but doesn’t block the view from inside to the outside street. This louver also avoids sunlight penetrating the internal space directly and even creates playful natural lighting arrangements inside the house.

Instead of having a walk-in closet inside the master bedroom, we decided to move it outside to connect the parent’s bedroom and the children’s bedroom. By sharing the closet, we hope to improve communication between parents and children. Last but not least, every bedroom in this house was thoughtfully designed according to sun study and ventilation factors. One of the strongest aspects of this project is to provide each of these rooms with its own green space (private garden). These gardens can easily access through sliding glass doors, which minimize the boundary between inside and outside of the house.

Sheraton Hotel is located on the banks of Ha Long Bay, Tuan Chau. With the position reaching out to the sea, I have expanded the hotel space by using large glass panels to open up the surrounding view. The idea of wave curves appeared with modernity and sparkle, leading the entire interior of the hotel lobby space to the lounge cafe inside. There is a building problem outside the bay, the pillars occupy a lot of areas, since then I have thought of using white steel pipes interlocked as fishing nets, forming flowers around the pillars. Local materials are also what I focus on in the building. Quang Ninh is famous as a black gold area, so I used the main color black tone with golden iridescence to increase the elegance of the project. The main stone material, interwoven wood increases the warmth of the building.
