3 Out of the redesigns I chose to develop the NES styled GBA. It had the best opportunity for the use of different color combinations than the other designs because it has a multi layered face plate. The stars in this piece are from Super Mario Brothers.

4 Here is my rendered view that I did in Photoshop using various masked layers for each of the components starting from the grey plastic body then building upward from there. I tried various ways to make the screen and the colored face plate reflective and shiny. I finally settled on making various angular cutouts and using a low opacity white and transparent gradient.

5 In this final project I continued with a Nintendo like them and used a light greyish blue with icons from Super Mario brothers games. Since Gameboys have been around for some years and went with a simple explanation layout that would be the easiest to understand on the units operation. Basically I only addressed the main functions for game play and chose to present how to operate the system via 3 simple steps.
