When you first meet Delishus O’Tool with her flowing ginger locks and not to mention her fabulous and vibrant gowns you could be forgiven for thinking “ what a glamorous Irish woman or should we say Drag Queen”! However there is a lot more to Delishus than simply her makeup, sparkling personality and well loved tongue in cheek humour. Delishus has been crowned by her loyal followers as the “Drag Queen with the voice and the range”.

Delishus is a fully trained Countertenor who uses her pure and raw musical abilities to spread hope, positivity and inspiration, whilst promoting the music industry to new upcoming musicians, artists and her fan following. She can truly encapsulate her audience through her musical strengths and calibre by undertaking big, strong and powerful performances from Beyoncé, Celine, Mariah, Whitney and her own heartfelt an unique songs inspired by her life experiences. You can hear within her original music how she is so creative and experimental with choice of tones, harmonies and genres for example pop, reggae and jazz .She is motivated , focused and using her technological ability to develop and produce her own original successful online YouTube channel to showcase her talent to her following and wider communities.

In 2023 Delishus launched “The Diva Show” with much acclaim with an astonishing 100k views. This led to Delishus winning Integrity Magazine’s “Drag Queen Of The Year 2023” in London. The Diva show was sporadically produced over two years by Delishus whilst being co-edited by Brian Griffin, member of the band “The Untouchables from Buzz Media. Alongside co-producer Brian The Diva Show was filmed by Jamie Brown a member of “Vixen” an established girl band in Northern Ireland.

Delishus chose to work with Buzz Media Productions for their diversity in not only showcasing different aspects of Delishus sultry and alluring countertenor vocals, but also her fabulous covers from genres of heavy hitting artists from Whitney Houston to Freddie Mercury. Within the launch Delishus debuted her own original song called “Guilty” which has become a popular favourite with her fan base and has sparked a song writing passion within herself.

She is devoted to services to the LGBTQ+ Community through her passion and love for performing, song and lyric writing and her love for music. Over the past 10 years she has become known as the face of VirginMedia02 Belfast and NI doing various events in Particular - Pride Parades. Furthermore in doing so Delishus helps coach young people and new drag artists she comes in contact with to inspire them to showcase their talents and be the best they can be, whilst being proud of who and what they are in this crazy yet wonderful world.

Over recent years this loyal queen has undertaken charitable events to help support and promote the rights of others this includes ; animal rights, gay rights and learning disabilities. For instance swimming the River Liffy in Dublin to climbing mountains in heels, this just shows how determined and resilient Delishus can be.

This year Delishus entered Ireland’s Eurosong to proudly represent her country with her own recording of a Latin inspired song “Take Me Out”. Unfortunately for Ireland she was not shortlisted to the final 6 however she was thrilled that she made the top 10 on her first attempt which was reported by certain sources.

Nothing stops this confident and resilient Queen and since then has launched her song on her Youtube whilst the top 6 finalists were getting announced. In doing so came some positive shocks and surprises before Ireland’s Eurosong aired on RTE’s Late Late Show. Before the show was aired Delishus had already achieved 150k Youtube views more than the other 6 contestants’ viewer count combined. The Drag Diva’s video was filled with plenty of comments from unhappy and furious members of the public who longed to see her in the Eurosong finalist lineup. In doing so this has instilled Delishus with the confidence to put another song forward for 2025.

Since the release of “Take Me Out” Delishus now has the largest drag YouTube channel in Ireland replacing Rupauls’s All Star Winner Blu Hydrangea and she’s not stopping anytime soon.

Delishus is preparing to release her new pop music video “Take Me Out” before Eurovision 2024. The video is currently being edited and produced by Loraa White CEO of the award winning Music Video Marketplace, a Northern Ireland based company involved widely in the music industry supporting local talent. Expect the unexpected with this pop video and storyline showcasing Delishus in a different light that is sure to turn heads of fans both new and old.This non stop singing diva has returned to the studio once again recording an EP with the multitalented Jessica Hammond from Black Studios Belfast who also recorded the much loved “Take Me Out”. Delishus being so versatile and on trend , is planning a new direction and twist within her music and brand with the aim and hope her next song to be forwarded and making the final 6 for Irelands Eurosong.

Judging by her first amazing attempt we might even see her go all the way and represent Ireland for Eurovision 2025.
