Record Store Day UK - 12/04/25
Record Store Day is an incredible annual event that brings together over 270 independent record shops across the UK to celebrate the vibrant culture of vinyl music! As a passionate vinyl collector, this day holds a special place in my heart, the thrilling part: the limited copies fly off the shelves, so you really have to be on your toes! Some titles may have only one copy available in each store, making it all the more exhilarating. This year, I’m particularly eager to snag a few must-have releases:

Wicked: The Soundtrack
Not sure if I have mentioned it before but I am a MASSIVE Wicked fan! This stunning 2 LP edition features a glitter green and a glitter pink vinyl, along with an exclusive bonus track that’s previously been digital-only! Plus, it comes with a lovely poster and a numbered vinyl jacket, making it a fantastic collector’s item!
Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Kitchen Disco (Live at The London Palladium)
Experience the magic of Sophie’s unforgettable live performance with this exclusive Record Store Day release. This gorgeous gold vinyl set is in a gatefold sleeve, individually numbered, with only 2,000 copies available. Featuring hits like “Murder on the Dancefloor,” this 2LP set brilliantly captures the fun and electrifying spirit of Sophie’s Kitchen Disco shows, which turned countless living rooms into dance floors during the COVID lockdowns!
Jamiroquai: A Funk Odyssey!
This originally droopped in September 2001, this fifth studio gem got tons of love from fans and critics alike, mixing funk, disco, and electronica in a way that just works. It gave us unforgettable tracks like “Little L” and “You Give Me Something,” really putting Jamiroquai on the map everywhere. This special Record Store Day 2LP edition is coming out on eye-catching “Corner Of The Earth Blue Green splatter vinyl,” with proceeds going to the amazing War Child Charity.
Dannii Minogue: Neon Nights
Remixed Following the successful 20th Anniversary reissue of Neon Nights, my old chum Dannii is back with an exciting twist! Neon Nights Remixed features fantastic new remixes created for 2023, marking their vinyl debut. I can’t wait to discover the fresh takes from Initial Talk, AMYL, Luke Mornay, Project K, and a new remix of “Put The Needle on It” by Korpi & Blackcell that promises to get everyone moving!
