Costa Mesa Marriott and Avenue of the Arts can host special events, parties, and weddings alongside an idyllic lake between the hotels. Another incredible meeting or party venue in Costa Mesa is the outdoor sculpture garden California Scenario (Noguchi Garden) at Pacific Arts Plaza (611 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa). Created by world-famous artist Isamu Noguchi, the Japanese-influenced garden features landscape and design elements celebrating California. This truly unique 70,000-sq.-ft. space containing desert streams, forests, and a rock fountain accommodates events of approximately 100 guests. Catering and event planning services are provided exclusively by the incomparable Mastro’s Steakhouse, just next to the garden.
Turn your event into an artistic spectacle at the renowned Segerstrom Center for the Arts (see page 8) in the heart of Costa Mesa’s arts district. Choose between four venues that hold from 370 to 3,000 attendees or experience the beautifully manicured 46,000-sq.-ft. Julianne and George Argyros Plaza, with the variable capacity of 500 to 2,000 guests and indoor event space of nearly 10,000 sq. ft. With a view of some of the most architecturally stunning venues and public art in California, this outdoor space can be adapted for simple alfresco dining, an exhibitor showcase, or an outdoor concert. Catering is provided by the world-class Patina Restaurant Group.
For events on a larger scale, Costa Mesa also offers the OC Fair & Event Center (see page 6), with seven different buildings ranging from 13,400 to 36,000 sq. ft. of event space. There are several various outdoor possibilities that can hold 1,500 to 3,000 guests, and the 8,200-seat Pacific Amphitheater can be rented for concerts or large-scale presentations requiring a stage. The venue can assist with not only event planning services, but you can personalize your grand event with digital signage board rental, exhibition setup, A/V equipment, security service, and event-wide Wi-Fi access for your attendees.
