ColLAB 22 A festival of self-created work

The Linbury Theatre LAMDA ColLAB 2022 is a platform of self-created work showcasing our 2022 MFA Professional Acting & MA Directing graduates. It is an exciting collaboration of urgent new writing, creative innovation, bold devising, brand new music theatre, solo-performance and more. The festival features 8 original pieces ranging from 10 to 40 minutes in length. An important celebration of new work and its vital place in our challenging cultural climate.

About Singer songwriters, Marie and Aisling, are on the cusp of motherhood, and they hope, fame and fortune. But will they be able to work together to navigate this new shaky ground when all is not as it seems? What will they do when the earthquake hits?

Rule Zero About Their basement. The Odds. His puppet. When estranged friends are called to their childhood home, they return to a past they’d left behind. The dust is unsettled, the rules have changed and demons they’d buried are coming to light.

About Noun. 1. The stylized sweat drops drawn onto a character’s head, as if it were coming out of the character, as used in cartoons. A genre-and-gender-bending exploration of our ability to ignore what’s right in front of us.
