Outstanding Clubs
Outstanding Club:
The outstanding club of the month is Caddo Magnet High School’s Key Club. This month, over Fall Break (October 12th through October 14th), Caddo Magnet Key Clubbers volunteered at the Fuller Center for Housing of Northwest Louisiana. This is a nonprofit organization that builds homes from the ground up for low income families in the Shreveport-Bossier area. In the span of three days, Caddo Magnet Key Club members performed over 25 hours of community service that will count towards the Governors Project of 25,000 service hours district-wide with an emphasis on serving children. Josie Feeny (Division 9 lieutenant governor) plans to make arrangements for Key Club members throughout division 9 to volunteer weekly at the Fuller Center starting in November and/or the very end of October. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication you all bring to your community!
