Introduction to the core elements Our visual system is comprised of our signature with tagline, expansion graphic, typography, color palette and photographic style, all displayed at right. When used in combination, these core elements become a powerful expression of the promise of our brand. Our bold, confident color palette, the qualities of precision in our typography and our honest and dynamic photography all support a larger brand experience and allude to our deep engineering expertise and ability to help our customers tackle their toughest challenges. While it’s important to apply each element of our visual system in a consistent manner, there is flexibility in how we bring them together. This allows us to develop communications and experiences that are both engaging and brand-building. In this section, we will illustrate how to use our core elements correctly to create impactful brand communications.

Our signature with tagline Our signature is the core of our new visual system. Our signature appears on all of our communications and is the most concise visual representation of our brand.
Signature components
Symbol
Wordmark
The ITT signature with tagline is comprised of three components: the ITT symbol, the ITT wordmark and the Engineered for life tagline. These elements share a distinct relationship, displayed at right. Do not alter or modify the signature in any way. Through the consistent and thoughtful use of our signature with tagline, we gain a powerful business advantage — our audiences will easily recognize and remember our brand.
ITT Signature with tagline
Please note: While using the ITT signature with tagline is the preferred use, it may not always be possible due to technical constraints or sizing limitations. In these situations, use the ITT signature without the tagline.

Clear space and sizing recommendations Surrounding our logo with a healthy amount of breathing room helps it stand out in our communications and demonstrates our commitment to preserving the integrity of our signature. Avoid placing any graphic or typographic elements within the clear space defined at right.
Clear space
Our signature has been designed in a manner that it remains highly legible at small sizes. However, in print applications, the signature with tagline should appear no smaller than 0.625 inches (16mm) in width. In Web/digital applications, avoid featuring the signature with tagline at sizes smaller than 72 pixels in width. Please note: There is an exception to the clear space rule. When locking up the expansion graphic to the signature, the graphic shares a distinct relationship with the logo and enters into the designated clear space area (see page 2.10 for further details).
Clear space equals the height of the T in the ITT wordmark.

Color variations and backgrounds We have established color variations for the ITT signature with tagline to ensure that it is always clear and legible in our communications.
Full-color variations
The only color variations approved for use in our visual system are displayed at right. To preserve the integrity of our signature and to reinforce the consistent presentation of our brand, do not alter the colors in any way. The color variation that you select should maximize visibility and recognition by providing good contrast and readability. The full-color positive variation of the signature best represents our brand — use it whenever possible and, preferably, on a white background. On color backgrounds, use the fullcolor reverse variation to provide better contrast for the ITT wordmark and tagline. Do not feature either variation on extremely dark or black backgrounds.
Full-color positive Use on white backgrounds.
Full-color reverse Use on color backgrounds.
One-color variations
The one-color black and one-color reverse variations are reserved for one- or two-color printing for which ITT Gold is not available or in material treatments (e.g., fax, stamping, embossing). Please note: The boxes surrounding the signatures displayed at right are only for illustrative purposes and serve to represent a larger background. The ITT signature should never appear framed in a box.

Expansion graphic overview The hero element of our visual identity system is the expansion graphic. This simple and powerful piece of artwork injects color into our communications and provides a flexible framework for featuring photography and messaging.
Highly engineered, customized solutions.
When used properly, the expansion graphic serves as a compelling metaphor, demonstating the enduring impact of ITT and our mission toward a larger goal. Its outward expansion symbolizes the breadth of our offerings, while the applied three-dimensional layering represents the depth of our expertise and our understanding of the complexities existing in our customers’ industries. The next few pages illustrate how to use the expansion graphic effectively in developing communications materials.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Overview of our visual system October 7, 2011
Anatomy of the expansion graphic The expansion graphic is a carefully developed piece of artwork consisting of three components: a feature box and two expansion zones. These three components fit together in a precise way, meeting at a single convergence point.
Components
Expansion zones may extend outward beyond the original shape to accommodate extremely horizontal or vertical layouts.
The expansion zones of the graphic are extremely flexible and may be extended outward, when necessary, to accommodate extremely horizontal or vertical layouts. These zones should feature the lead color and the bright color from the selected theme, as displayed at right (see 2.13 for more information on color themes).
Before
After
Expansion zone (lead color)
The feature box is the focal point of the graphic and is reserved for the dark color of the selected theme or for photography. Do not modify the shape of the feature box in any way.
Expansion zone (bright color)
Convergence point
Only eight color variations of the graphic have been approved. The variations, displayed at lower right, are based on a primary color theme or a neutral theme from our color palette. The grayscale variation is reserved for grayscale print applications and should not be used otherwise.

Cropping and positioning the expansion graphic Energy and dynamism is injected into our communications when the expansion graphic is incorporated into the layout. With a broad range of cropping and orientation options, it is easy to effectively position the expansion graphic.
Orientation principles
Cropping principles
When cropping the expansion graphic, all three components (feature box and both expansion zones) should remain visible to ensure that the graphic retains its dynamic appearance. Always crop the expansion graphic on at least two sides and with no more than one corner (the expansion point) appearing in the layout. If required, the expansion zones of the graphic may be extended to fill the layout (see 2.8 for more details). In situations where the expansion graphic appears without the ITT signature (e.g., an interior spread, wall display panel or website banner), the graphic may be placed full-bleed, as displayed at right.
When cropping, ensure that all three components of the graphic remain visible in the layout.
The expansion graphic may be rotated in 90-degree increments or flipped horizontally to accomodate a variety of layout needs. The only approved orientation options are displayed above.

Locking up the expansion graphic to the ITT signature The four options for locking up the expansion graphic to the ITT signature are displayed at right.
Preferred lockup relationships Upward lockup
Leftside lockup
The primary option is the upward lockup, where the expansion graphic extends up from the signature. The leftside lockup may be used as an alternative. Only use the downward or rightside lockup in situations where either the upward or leftside lockup is not possible. When locking up the graphic to the signature, the expansion point should center align with the ITT symbol and be spaced apart, as shown at right. The height of the feature box should be at least four times the height of the ITT symbol to ensure that the two elements do not visually compete with each other.

Applying photography to the expansion graphic The feature box component within the expansion graphic serves as a natural framing device for photography.
Placing photography within the feature box
When selecting photography to feature within the expansion graphic, the color composition of the photograph should be harmonious with the color theme applied to the graphic.
Expansion zone Expansion zone
When scaling and positioning photography within the feature box, be sure that the resulting composition is dynamic and impactful.
Feature box
Photography may be placed only within the feature box component of the expansion graphic. Do not place photography in the expansion zones.
Scale and position the image as needed to create a dynamic composition.
Once the photo is cropped, the graphic is ready for use in an application.
Examples of successful use
Philo Farnsworth: A brilliant mind takes flight He was a fourteen-year-old boy, plowing his father’s potato field, when a brainstorm hit and the television was born. Looking at the endless rows in front of him, Philo T. Farnsworth wondered if images might also be reproduced line-by-line by shooting a beam of electrons against a light-sensitive screen. With that thought, and his later development of the first “image dissector tube,” Farnsworth became the father of television in 1927.
the ground. It was the forerunner of today’s sophisticated air traffic control systems, which keep our increasingly crowded skies from descending into dangerous chaos.
From Denise Ramos
At the time of his invention, the globe was connected more by sea lines than airlines. Today, we fly into plane-filled skies without a second thought, because Philo Farnsworth let his brilliant mind take flight and see the future of air travel.
Two decades later, Farnsworth brought his brilliant mind to ITT, where he toiled away in a basement lab known as “the cave” on Pontiac Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Freed from having to produce somewhat simplistic electronic components for the war effort, Farnsworth unleashed his genius and introduced a breathtaking string of breakthrough concepts: a defense early warning signal, submarine detection devices, radar calibration equipment, an infrared telescope and many, many others.

Effectively applying color and neutral themes We apply color to our communications following a strategy based on themes. As outlined on the previous page, we have several themes from which to choose. Apply these themes in pairs, with one theme playing the primary role and the other a supporting role. Displayed at right are examples of our color strategy in action. Theme colors may be applied to the graphic and typography elements. Most often, apply the primary theme to expansion graphics and headlines, with the supporting theme used for callouts and highlight graphics.

Life made safer
Philo Farnsworth: A brilliant mind takes flight
To reach great heights and lead full lives, all of us need a safety net. In his famous hierarchy of needs, psychologist Abraham Maslow said that one of our most basic needs—right after air, water and food—is the need for safety and security. Only when we feel safe will we begin pursuing the higher-order needs—love, friendship, self-esteem—that make for a higher quality of life.
He was a fourteen-year-old boy, plowing his father’s potato field, when a brainstorm hit and the television was born.
“ITT’s Philo Farnsworth invented the world’s first air traffic control system. Today, more than 2 billion plane pasengers a year are benefiting from his brainstorm.”
Throughout our history, ITT has been developing groundbreak- ing technologies that make the world a safer place for all of us. In the 1980’s, we introduced a battlefield radio – SINCGARS – so advanced that soldiers are still using its predecessor today to protect themselves and their country. We introduced KONI® shock absorbers 80 years ago to keep drivers safe on rough roads. And just as they have done for decades, our water purification and disinfection systems remove the worry from about what comes out of our taps.

control systems, which keep our increasingly crowded skies from descending into dangerous chaos.
“Philo was a very deep person — tough to engage in conversation because he was always thinking about what he could do next,” says Art Resler, an ITT photographer who documented Farnsworth’s work in pictures. Farnsworth was so prolific that one of his most significant contributions is almost lost in his deluge of engineering developments. In the 1950’s, he invented the PPI Projector to allow safe control of air traffic from
Today, one of our young scientists, Shanna Ratnesar-Shumate, is working on a project with the potential to keep future generations safe from airborne viruses and toxins. A pioneer in aerosol research, her work is part of a patent-pending solution allows chemical clouds to be recognized and identified from a safe distance. In addition, the cloud can be tracked as it moves over the terrain, allowing authorities to create evacuation routes, direct people out of harm’s way and save lives.

Applying color to charts and graphs When working with charts and graphs, it is best to work within the theme(s) that you assigned to the application, using the dark, bright and lead colors.
Using multiple themes and accents
Depending on the nature of the data presented through the chart or graph, however, it might be desirable to call attention to a specific data point or to ensure that each data point is equally distinctive. Accent colors and lead colors from other themes may be leveraged to help tell these stories effectively. Displayed at right are a few examples of proper use of color within various data stories. Please note: While there is a great deal of flexibility in the colors that we use to tell stories through charts and graphs, our color strategy is firmly grounded on the use of one or two themes, as described on the previous page.

Typography overview The typography featured in our communications conveys a great deal about our personality. For this reason, we have identified specific typefaces for our use. The following are the only typefaces approved for use in our communications. Primary typeface Reflecting our brand character, Blender is a typeface that exhibits precise letterforms and an angular structure. These attributes are similar to those found within our signature’s symbol and the shapes within the expansion graphic. To leverage Blender’s attributes, it is reserved for use in display copy (headlines and call-outs rather than body copy or other small-size text). This will help ensure that the typeface’s angular structure remains prominent and noticed. Secondary typeface Humanist is rich in heritage and meaning. Also having qualities of precision, it is a proven typeface that we have used in our communications for many years. Since it is highly readable, its use is reserved for body copy and lengthy blocks of text rather than for headlines. Desktop and Web substitute Use Arial, a system font preloaded on most computers, for general desktop applications, including Microsoft Word® and PowerPoint®. This will help eliminate compatibility issues when sharing files. Arial may also be used for digital/electronic text in Web applications.

Proper use of typography A consistent approach to type hierarchy and layout is important for creating engaging, easy-to-read communications. Headlines Headlines should generally be the largest-sized text on the page. Assign Blender Pro Book and primary theme colors to headlines to ensure that they stand out and grab the reader’s attention. Introductory text Text that immediately follows headlines should be sized smaller than the headlines but larger than the body text to allow a quick, easy read. Set introductory text in Blender Pro Book and in primary theme colors. Paragraph headings Size paragraph headings slightly larger than body text in Blender Pro Book, using primary theme colors. Body text Set body text in Humanist 777 Light in black. Use color or bold treatments sparingly and only to attract attention to key points. Call-outs Size call-outs larger than body text in Blender Pro Book, using primary or supporting theme colors. Please note: There is no one-size-fits-all solution for type hierarchy, but always keep these general principles in mind when setting text.

Misuse of typography There are a few things to avoid when working with typography. Displayed on this page are some examples of misuse.
1)
2) Highly engineered, customized solutions.
Life made safer
1) Do not feature Blender in body copy or Humanist in display copy.
3) Headline here Descriptor here Lorem ipsum dolor amet consectetur adipiscing elit cras mauris venenatis suscipit risus nec proin ultricies vehicula proin elementum rutrum, eros mauris iaculis elit, venenatis enim sed ipsum amet. Phasellus et leo dignissim convails sagittis massa facilisis cursus.
2) Do not use unapproved typefaces.
3) Do not justify blocks of text. 4) Do not assign color to text if the color doesn’t provide ample contrast with the background.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Overview of our visual system October 7, 2011
Photography styles and categories The photography that we feature in our communications can have a profound impact on our brand. It can capture the reader’s attention, explain product details or tell a deeper story about the way we help our customers face difficult challenges with confidence. Out photography is honest, aspirational, purposeful and controlled — never staged. We adopt a photodocumentary style that shows our people and products in the context of their real-life environments, leading to compelling and credible narratives.
Employees, customers and product users
Products and product environments
We have identified three specific categories of photographic narratives: employees, customers and product users; products and product environments; and engineered by nature. Each category is discussed in detail in the next few pages. Please note: If you plan to use photography in communications outside the United States and Canada, ensure that the images are relevant and culturally sensitive to a global audience.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Overview of our visual system October 7, 2011
Employees, customers and product users When featuring subjects representing our employees, customers and/or product users, stay true to our photo-documentary style. The photographs should look authentic, showing subjects in the real-life environments in which they operate. To draw the viewer in, compositions may make use of selective focus, natural framing shapes and dynamic perspectives. Displayed at right is a continuum based on the strategic intent of the photographs. On the left end are photographs that focus primarily on the environment. In the middle, photographs present the subject(s) and environment(s) in a balanced relationship. And on the right end, photographs focus primarily on the subject(s). Depending on the situation, you might want to select a macro- or micro-level photograph. If it is important to establish our expertise within a particular category, using a macro-level photograph may better deliver the message. If the focus needs to be on the relationships that we build with our customers, using micro-level photography should meet your needs. Please note: Given the nature of our business, the environments where our people work (e.g., a warehouse) are often visually complex. Make every attempt to feature clean, simple backgrounds that provide enough context for the viewer without being distracting.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Overview of our visual system October 7, 2011
Products and product environments Photography centered around our products generally fits within one of four categories: environments, products in context, product details or product shots. When featuring photography where the focus is solely on the product environment, use scale and perspective in the composition to add visual interest to the photography. When products are shown in context, strike an equal balance between product and environment. Use cropping or selective focus techniques to draw attention to the product.
Macro Focus on product environment
Focus on product in context
Micro Focus on product detail/texture
Working with product shots To establish a level of intimacy with the product, it may be useful to feature micro-level photography that focuses on interesting details or textures found within our products. Product shots When possible, use shots that feature perspective and show the product in a dynamic manner. Remove products from staged or distracting backgrounds. They should appear as an integrated part of our clean design compositions. Apply drop-shadow effects to silhouetted product shots to help them appear more natural. When applying shadows, use a subtle effect to avoid an artificial look. The goal is realism and clarity without drawing attention to the shadow.

Product shots should be silhouetted and accented with a subtle drop shadow.
Avoid using stale or unsilhouetted product shots.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Overview of our visual system October 7, 2011
Engineered by nature In some situations, it might be necessary or beneficial to feature less literal and more conceptual imagery. When this is the case, use photography inspired by the “engineered by nature” category. At the macro-level, this type of photography alludes to the idea of goals and opportunities – the greater system in which ITT operates. The photos embody a dramatic use of scale and clear perspective lines. The nature captured in the photographs is more abstract and less descriptive, allowing the viewer to see things in a new and unpredicted way. At the micro-level, the photography serves as a metaphor for our expertise and attention to detail. Notice in the images displayed at right, on the far side of the continuum, that the angular lines, dynamic patterns and sharp focus lead to a highly impactful photo demonstrating precision in engineering.

Corporate Records
Q
Minsheng’s business unit has met its growth target for the year. A senior manager asks Minsheng to hide Company funds in a reserve account, which will be used to prop up their business unit’s future earnings. The manager tells Minsheng that the auditors will accept this reserve account because the amount is immaterial. What should he do?
A
Minsheng should not create the account. Misstatements are never acceptable, especially when they are created with the intent of managing earnings. Minsheng should not make this change and should report his manager’s request to an ITT controller or the ITT Audit Committee.
Accurate Records
Records Retention
When it comes to preparing ITT’s corporate records, honesty and transparency are our guides. Each of us has a responsibility to ensure that the information contained in our business records— including our time cards, expense reports and production records—is full, fair, accurate, timely and understandable. We accomplish this by only providing information that is completed in accordance with our internal control procedures. If you are unsure how to represent information in an ITT report or document, contact an ITT controller for guidance.
Properly maintaining and destroying records are important aspects of keeping accurate business records. We must retain all ITT records in conformity with the guidelines set forth in our records retention schedules, as well as U.S. and local laws. These records retention schedules dictate the length of time to keep business records, as well as the way in which they are to be destroyed.
Our commitment to acting ethically and honestly requires that we engage in legitimate and authorized business transactions. We may never make a false representation on behalf of ITT, whether verbally or in writing. In addition, we must not hide ITT funds, mischaracterize Company transactions, create unrecorded fund accounts or knowingly allow similar illegal activities to occur. If you have accounting, recordkeeping or auditing concerns, contact your manager, your supervisor, or an ITT controller. You can also contact the ITT Audit Committee anonymously by mail, c/o the ITT Corporate Secretary, 1133 Westchester Ave., White Plains, New York, 10604, USA.
Q
On a recent business trip to Sweden, Anabelle stayed overnight with an old friend. Can she include the equivalent cost of a hotel room on her travel voucher?
A
No. All vouchers, expense reports, time cards and other ITT documents must be complete and accurate. We are never permitted to knowingly enter false, misleading or inaccurate information on ITT documents.
If you are notified by a Company lawyer that you possess records relevant to an anticipated or pending litigation, investigation or audit, follow the guidelines set forth in that notification. Do not destroy, alter or conceal any covered documents (including computer files, e-mails and disks) in response to or in anticipation of any such Company notification, government proceeding or lawsuit.
“ITT’s Philo Farnsworth invented the world’s first air traffic control system. Today, more than 2 billion plane pasengers a year are benefiting from his brainstorm.”
Farnsworth was so prolific that one of his most significant contributions is almost lost in his deluge of engineering developments. In the 1950’s, he invented the PPI Projector to allow safe control of air traffic from the ground. It was the forerunner of today’s sophisticated air traffic control systems, which keep our increasingly crowded skies from descending into dangerous chaos.
“Philo was a very deep person — tough to engage in conversation because he was always thinking about what he could do next,” says Art Resler, an ITT photographer who documented Farnsworth’s work in pictures.
If you have a question related to the retention of a document you possess, contact the Company Legal department before taking any action.
Internal and Government Investigations From time to time, ITT conducts internal investigations of ethics and compliance issues. Everyone has a duty to cooperate and provide honest information in connection with an investigation when asked. Anyone who fails to cooperate with or obstructs an investigation in any way, or fails to comply with these guidelines, will be subject to appropriate discipline, up to and including termination.

Press kit/sales folder Press kits and sales folders enclose a variety of our printed communications materials, including stationery, brochures and product data sheets. Keep presentation folders simple in design. Leveraging one or two color themes, along with the expansion graphic, will provide enough visual cues to effectively represent our brand. It will also ensure that the design is generic enough to meet the needs of a wide variety of situations. For this reason, too, avoid featuring photography in presentation folder designs.

Email Creating and sending HTML-driven emails is a common tactic used across a range of internal and external communications. To promote a consistent look across our email communications, we have developed a few examples of how these emails might appear with our new visual system applied. When working with HTML emails, maintain a strong type hierarchy and avoid excessive use of imagery or graphic elements. Keep the formatting clean and simple to allow for easy reading and navigation. Displayed at right are three email banners developed using our visual system. Two of the banners are displayed in the context of an email to show how content may be formatted to match the banner.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Putting the pieces together October 7, 2011
Internal posters and banners Posters, banners and similar internal communications should be designed using our visual system to ensure that our internal and external communications share a consistent look and feel. Given the range of environments in which posters and banners may be featured, from warehouse ceilings to office walls, there is a tremendous amount of flexibility in the placement of brand elements within a specific application. Make sure that the text is scaled large enough to be clearly read when featured in applications that will be seen from a distance. Please note: In situations where a poster or a banner is strictly for internal use, it is not required to feature the ITT signature with tagline in the application.

Trade show Our visual system translates well across trade-show signage. Use of color themes and the expansion graphic creates bold, attention-grabbing back walls and displays. When creating trade-show displays, keep in mind our approach toward color themes. Limit their use to one or two themes per application.

In some situations, it may be necessary to break up the ITT signature and tagline to accommodate extremely horizontal spaces. In these situations, baseline the tagline with the ITT wordmark, as shown at right. Stationery Letterhead, envelopes, business cards and the other stationery items that we often use should reflect the look of our new visual identity. Although they do not feature the expansion graphic, color themes or photographic elements, stationery should reflect our current ITT signature with tagline and our typographic style. Displayed at right are examples of how a few stationery items might look when updated. Dear Addressee:
Dear Addressee:
This is a sample of the new ITT Corporation U.S. standard letterhead. The clean, organized structure of the flush-left format gives our business communications a highly professional profile. Type all body copy in 10-point Arial, upper- and lowercase, on 14 points of leading.
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque molestie adipiscing laoreet. Vivamus id enim orci. In hac habitasse platea dictumst. Nunc dapibus ante ac turpis fermentum consectetur. Nunc aliquam, neque ut faucibus euismod, turpis nunc sodales sem, commodo eleifend nulla lorem eu felis. Quisque volutpat vestibulum eros non feugiat. Donec feugiat tempus hendrerit. Praesent imperdiet laoreet ornare.
Set the left margin of the page at 1.25” and the right margin at 0.75”. Type the date 2.5” from the top of the page. Skip one line before typing the Addressee’s name and address flush left with the date line. Skip one line between the last address line and the salutation. Then skip one line between the salutation and the body of the letter. Do not indent at the beginning of paragraphs, and always skip one line between paragraphs. When your letter is complete, skip two lines before the closing. Then skip four lines between the closing and the Sender’s typed name to allow space for the Sender’s signature. Finally, skip one line between the Sender’s typed name and the Typist’s initials.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Putting the pieces together October 7, 2011
Business card Our business card is a critical component of our stationery system. It often serves as the key communicator of the name and role of our employee and may even be the first interaction that potential customers have with our visual identity. Our business-card template, illustrated at right, features the proper hierarchy for information that may appear on a card. If a legal name is required, include it above the address line. Legal names are often unnecessary, except in certain geographic regions, but must be vetted by ITT legal counsel. When a second language is required, feature it on the back of the business card and in the same format as the content on the front of the card (e.g., English on card front with Chinese translation on card back). Please note: To see examples of our business card in practice, reference the Brand Architecture section of these guidelines.

Promotional items Our brand elements may be used for promotional items, including shirts, hats, mugs, keychains or other giveaways. Observe high-quality standards when choosing promotional items. Always consider their appropriateness for the intended audience and for our brand. Give the ITT signature a place of honor and refrain from placing it in any way or anywhere that might diminish its impact. Displayed at right are examples of the correct use of our brand elements for promotional items. Please note: Always match the Pantone C values for our colors when choosing specifications for embroidery, screenprinting or other production methods. Please note: The examples displayed at right are only for inspirational purposes and not intended for literal translation.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Our brand architecture October 7, 2011
When developing materials, one or more tiers may be leveraged depending on the situation and the target audience. Always feature the ITT parent brand and use as few levels as possible to facilitate clear and concise communications. Please note: If proprietary identities currently exist for product lines, they will continue to be used; however, do not develop new proprietary names or visual identities moving forward. For new acquisitions at the sub-brand level, use consistent type treatment. The names of our Value Centers, industry specializations and product lines, along with the ITT Signature and sub-brand logos, should remain consistent across all materials.
Company definition
Value Centers, industry specializations and product lines are purely descriptive in nature and, therefore, primarily depicted through type treatment.
Offerings
Our brand architecture system is a tailored version of the master brand model. We give prominence to the ITT parent brand, while the equity of our key sub-brands are reinforced with proprietary visual identities.

ITT Corporation Brand Guidelines – Our brand architecture October 7, 2011
How it appears in our business cards The fundamental purpose for stationary items is to articulate the roles of our employees. Consequently, we must illustrate their connection within the brand architecture system. Displayed at right are examples representing the proper application of our brand architecture. ITT Corporation-focused business cards At the corporate level, the parent brand and title appear below the employee’s name, clarifying the individual’s comprehensive leadership role. Value Center-focused business cards To reflect the divisions our executives and employees represent, the employee title is followed by the Value Center. Sub-brand-focused business cards Sub-brand logos may be featured in the designated zone in the lower left-hand corner of the card. At the executive level, the Value Center is incorporated under the employee title to clarify the managerial role and the relationships of units.
