The historic city of Lancaster, with its fascinating collection of Georgian heritage, is an ancient county town with Lancaster Castle overlooking the city. Travelling to, and around, Morecambe, Lancaster and the Lune Valley is easy. By Rail: The West Coast Main Line brings frequent Intercity Services from London Euston (journey time approx 3 hours) and Glasgow (journey time approx 2 hours) to Lancaster. From Lancaster, regular services connect to the rest of the district.

By Coach: National Express Coach Services operate coaches to Lancaster and Morecambe. By Sea: Ferry services from the Isle of Man operate to Heysham. By Air: The regionâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s main airport is Manchester. There is a smaller airport at Blackpool.
