Our Services ROTOGRAVURE INKS

Rotogravure inks are low viscosity, homogeneous colored liquids formulated to transfer and reproduce an image from an engraved or etched printing cylinder onto the substrate. The inks can be diluted by volatile solvents, which allow the print to dry by evaporation. The rotogravure process is one of the popular printing processes in commercial printing industry. It offers high quality print reproduction at high press speeds. To add to that, printing can be performed on a wide variety of substrates used in flexible packaging--from non-porous plastic films, to porous materials like paper. ASAColor offers the following products under the Rotogravure inks line: SURFACE PRINT INK Ordinary ink for COEX OPP/PE/PP Oil and water resistant for PE/PP Freezer ink for PE Lightfast ink for banners Heat resistant ink for papers Untreated inks for PP/PE REVERSE PRINT PVC ink for Shrinkable PVC films PET ink for Shrinkable PET film LAMINATION INK OPP film reverse print for dry or solvent free lamination OPP film reverse print for PP extrusion lamination without primer Generated with www.html-to-pdf.net PET film reverse print for dry or solvent free lamination

FLEXOGRAPHIC INKS A quick and economical printing process widely used in the industry, flexography is a form of rotary printing in which ink is applied to various surfaces by means of flexible rubber printing plates. The inks used in flexography dry quickly by evaporation and are safe for use on wrappers that come directly in contact with foods. Flexographic inks are primarily used in the printing of packing materials such as cardboard boxes, corrugated cardboard, paper bags, plastic bags, newspapers, catalogues, and food packaging. Flexography has been widely used as a quick and economical way of applying simple designs and areas of color, and can be overlaid to achieve brilliant colors and special effects. The following flexographic ink products are offered by ASAColor: Ordinary ink for COEX OPP/PE/PP WPP ink for Woven Polypropylene substrates Freezer ink for PE Tinting inks for continuous forms High solids glossy ink for CI flexo machines Water-based ink for corrugated cartons

CONVENTIONAL OFFSET PRINTING Quick and cost-efficient. Traditional is tried and tested. Offset printing is a commonly used printing technique in which the inked image is transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket, then to the printing surface. When used in combination with the lithographic process, which is based on the repulsion of oil and water, the offset technique employs a flat image carrier on which the image to be printed obtains ink from ink rollers, while the non-printing area attracts a water-based film, keeping the non-printing areas ink-free. The advantages of offset printing include consistent sharp and clean images, longer printing plate life than lithographic presses, and are the cheapest method for producing high quality prints.

ADHESIVES Laminating adhesives are used to combine two or more layers of plastic films, foils, and paper to meet the various packaging requirements of the food, personal care, household and pharmaceutical industries. Flexible laminating adhesives are used to create the bond between the film layers in a laminate to form the right balance of properties desired in a flexible packaging material. ASAColor offers the following products under the Adhesives line: Solvent-based Adhesives Solvent-free adhesives Primer for Extrusion Lamination

UV CURABLE INKS High productivity that guarantees eco-friendliness. Ultraviolet curing (commonly known as UV curing) is a photochemical process in which high-intensity ultraviolet light is used to instantly cure or “dry” inks, coatings or adhesives. Using light instead of heat, the UV curing process is based on a photochemical reaction. UV curable inks and coatings were first used as a better alternative to solvent-based products. Conventional heat- and airdrying works by solvent evaporation. This process shrinks the initial application of coatings by more than 50% and creates environmental pollutants. In UV curing, there is no solvent to evaporate, no environmental pollutants, no loss of coating thickness, and no loss of volume. This results in higher productivity in less time, with a reduction in waste, energy use and pollutant emissions
