Greece Through the Ages Tour

Explore 4,000 years of Greek history and culture, including must-see sites such as the Akropolis, the Oracle of Apollo at Delphi, and the ancient theatre at Epidauros. In addition, you will experience Greece as few visitors do – in the charming 19th century town of Nafplio, and with a stay in the traditional Greek village of Kyparissi, on the Aegean Sea. Langara Instructor Emeritus and program leader Peter Prontzos, who has led seven other tours to Greece, will share his knowledge of Greek history, culture, politics, and philosophy.

Join this 11-Day Portugal Photography Tour to the Iberian nation where Celts, Romans, Visigoths, Moors and Christians all left their mark. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, the rhythms of village life and Portugal’s outstanding food and wine. The trip begins in Lisbon, Portugal’s stunning capital city, and we make our way up to romantic Porto and through Portugal’s Douro wine region, doing wine tastings and sampling delicious Portuguese cuisine as we go.
