A MESSAGE FROM THE LANGARA FACULTY ASSOCIATION

I am honoured to have this opportunity to acknowledge your achievements and accomplishments, and the journey you have been on that has resulted in one of the best days of your lives.

It is my privilege, on behalf of the Langara Faculty Association, to acknowledge and praise the spirit, determination, and strength you have each shown to get to this point. Without a doubt, your journey has been successful because of your hard work and resilience.

This has been a trying year for you and for your families, and the faculty recognize how hard you have worked to accomplish your achievements. With transition comes change and with change comes the opportunity to rise above obstacles, to test our capacity, and assess our determination on our way to achieving success. It is by embracing resilience that we can achieve success and all of you have demonstrated that you have the capacity to take on challenge and adversity – to take the steps necessary to develop and grow. That resilience is as valuable and will stand you in as good stead as the degrees that we are celebrating here. As faculty, we have had the opportunity to make contribution and impact on students lives, families, and society at large. I know that faculty recognize and understand the vital role they perform in the delivery and enhancement of quality teaching and learning, and strive to do their best to support you in your journey to educational success. We are proud of our students’ achievements and recognize the determination and hard work involved in your time at Langara.

So, with your resilience tool kit, we are confident that you have the strength to take on whatever new challenges you move on to from here, and the necessary skills to support and guide you on your path to success.

Thank you for choosing snəeyəɬ lelə Langara College, congratulations and we wish you all the best!
