PATAUDI CUP When it debuted at 1996, Bhopal Pataudi Cup already showed promise with the eminent Pataudi Family behind its genesis. The Princely Pataudi's have a line of illustrious Polo players, star ng from Nawab Hamidullah Khan, the last ruler of Bhopal, who was a 9 goal player and once the captain of Bhopal team. So the Bhopal Pataudi Cup's unwavering success as the opening tournament for the Delhi Polo Season is entrenched in the family's devo on to the legacy of the Sport.

PATAUDI CUP 22 OCTOBER 2017 Rajnigandha Achievers vs Jindal Panther The intense final match of the Bhopal Pataudi Cup had everyone at the edge of their seats, with Rajnigandha achievers & Jindal Panthers ba ling for the tle valiantly. A fine display of gallantry and grace, the tournament never fails to impress. The neck to neck match ended with Jindal Panthers winning the Bhopal Pataudi Cup for the Ninth me. Simran Shergil was tled the Most Valuable Player, while Ma hew Perry’s pony, Julie a, was named the Best Playing Pony.

A er an excep onal performance at the Bhopal Pataudi Cup, Jindal Panther won the tournament in the extra chukker. A er winning the tle of Most Valuable Player, the ever so humble Simran Shergil told LA POLO

Simran Shergil was titled the Most Valuable Player, while Matthew Perry’s pony, Julietta, was named the Best Playing Pony.
BHOPAL-PATAUDI CUP HITS & MISSES HITS: 1
The first goal was taken by Rajnigandha Achiever’s Ma hew Perry, in an impressive 40 yard penalty goal. 2 Soon a er Jindal Panther’s Simran Singh restored balance by scoring the second goal of the match, almost single handedly playing the field. 3 The second chukker saw Ma hew Perry conver ng a goal with the help of Deepak Udar, whose mely backhand shot prevented the swi Goffredo from scoring against Rajnigandha. 4 Bhavani Singh skillfully scores in favor of his team, Rajnigandha Achievers in the second chukker. Rajnigandha Achiever’s and more specifically Ma hew Perry dominated the field during the 5 second chukker scoring two stellar goals for Rajnigandha Achiever’s. In chukker four Jindal Panther’s made a comeback withSimranShergilscoring the first goal of the 6 chukker. Jindal Panther’s recovery was solidified as Goffredo scored another goal for his team in two 7 breathtaking shots. The last goal of the third chukker was scored by SachinSarbalia in favor of the Jindal Panthers. 8 The scores were yet again equalized by the fourth chukker as Ma hew Peery successfully scored 9 two 60 yard penalty goals in favor of Rajnigandha Achievers. With the scores ed at 6-6, the teams played for the golden goal and finally won by 10 GoffredoCu nelli as he succuesfully secured a goal for his team in a 30 yard penalty.
MISSES: 1 2 3
Bhavani Singhmissed a 40 yard penalty in the first chukker. Yet again in the first chukkerBhavani Singh misses another 60 yard goal. Goffredo takes a 60 yard penalty goal but sadly the umpire disagrees on it.

1 Hurlingham Open saw the surprise victory of Alegria against the formidable defea ng champions La Dolfina scoring 10-9, thereupon qualifying for the finals with Ellers na on the 28th of October.
Astrada Cup
2 The first tle in the La Aguada Polo Season, Julio Novillo Astrada Cup, on its third day had Las Monjitas defea ng El Milagro by a score of 14-9 & La Ensenada winning against Escoriheula Gascón by 11-8. The next match is on 24 October while the finals would be on 28 October.
Singapore Gold Cup
3 Singapore Polo Club announced it's 16 goal Gold Cup. The match is scheduled for October 29 at the Singapore Polo Club.

El Remanso Cup
4 The third match in the El Remanso Cup had Mar nez & Mar nez scoring 11-4 against La Gama & La Dolfina Oriental defea ng El Remanso by a core of 1112. The matches resume on 27 October while the finals are scheduled for 28 October.
Real Circuit
5 The first leg of the Real Circuit came to an end which was hosted by Pompeya Polo had Santa Teresita Buenaventura taking the winning tle with a score of 10.5-9 against La Asturiana I
