Materials: printed pictures of minimal pairs for each team minimal pairs flashcards Instruction: Drill the students with the pronunciation of minimal pairs using the flashcards. Divide students into groups of 6 or 7 depending on the number of students present. Have them line up with a distance of an arms length from each other and give the last person the set of pictures. The teacher will call the first person in line and show them the picture and they must whisper that word to the next person and so on until it reaches the last student who will get the picture, run and hand the picture to the teacher. So that all will have a chance to be the first and the last student, after their turn, make the first student go to the back and the other move one step forward.
