CHAOS, CALM, INCONSISTENT, CONSTANT. I delight in digital photography and paint; neutral colors and poppy hues. I enjoy rhythm, patterns and finding the constant within chaos. I love to fully engage in adrenaline and excitement as well as tranquility and a slow state of mind. I hope you see and enjoy this duality as much as I do.

Let’s start from the beginning. The individual who bought my first art set for my sixth birthday. The art teachers who served and survived my only memories of my elementary school education. Pasadena High School Visual Art and Design Academy’s teachers who helped me with my first steps into the fine art and graphic design world and their provision of countless free field trips. Grace Karabachian, who said I was the coolest fifteen-year-old she had ever met. My sister, Sevan, who took me on my first museum trip, who also encouraged me my freshman year of PLNU by saying, “I’ve always seen you in the art world, why would you major in anything else”? My father, whose financial support provided the opportunity for my schooling in this field, at this paradise of a school, Point Loma Nazarene University. Aleen Matiossian, for teaching me how to use a DSLR and who constantly encourages me to stay weird and true amidst the stagnantly normal crowd. Dave Adey for being the pal who helps me see boys, art and life in a different light. Eugene Harris, a wise and sassy man with whom I had the pleasure of traveling Europe and visiting all of its museums; for also making me feel like my photography was number one. My fellow classmates and designers who commented, critiqued, encouraged, aided and with whom I stayed up very late or all night. The greatest thanks goes to the gracious and bright-eyed Courtney Mayer who stayed up with us, rose early with us and guided us through our daring attempts with design.
