PORTFOLIO 2017
Curious and always thinking, I love to learn about people and their culture: how people think and behave, and how I can make it better. I love to collaborate with different people, and mix technology and design. I am most enthusiastic when I brainstorm with different types of people to create new radical ideas and build them!

DUMBOT DUMBOT is Drumming Robot that integrates a series of types of machine element, sensors, actuators and microcontrollers to perform various programmable drumming action DUMBOT grew from an exploration of percussive instruments like drums, chimes, cymbals and xylophones. Since real drummers are able to play different parts of theirinstrument, changing tempo and rhythm structure at will, that was the essence of whatwe aimed to recreate.
DrumBot can play different rhythms at different tempos on foursections of two rings of percussive instruments, all whilst it wiggles its head and blinks its red eye. The design embodied our technical aims and also inspired much humour with its life-like enthusiasm for playing beats.
