Individual Idea Subgenre -slasher/creepy kids
Synopsis There’s a house in the middle of the woods which is thought to be abandoned. A group of high school friends dare one of them to inspect the abandoned house which they are peer pressured into entering. On arrival multiple small shadows appear through the windows which are noticed by the group of friends. Once the victim has arrived in the house there are multiple children’s toys scattered around the room which begin the play one by one. By this time the group of friends become suspicious and tell the victim they are able to leave the premises as they were only doing it for a laugh. However, once the friend in the house begins to leave the front door shuts aggressively and locks him out. A shadow appears behind him and they turn to be faced with a child dressed in a white gown holding an old teddy bear with her head faced to the ground covered by her long tangled locks. The group of friends casually call for their friend after noticing the door closed believing it was shut by him to prank and scare his mates who dared him to go inside. However, sharp screams travel from the abandoned house to the group of friends which send shivers down their spine resulting in their screams for their friend. The group franticly run away from the house leaving their friend behind where they think that’s the end; however it’s only just begun. Days have passed and the group of friends begin to forget about their lost member and that’s when he returns to get his revenge for being left behind. One by one each friend is possessed and ends their life with a brutal death as the voice of their lost friend chimes “you left behind, and now you’ll pay” with a background song of a lullaby anchoring the presence of the young child.
Characters For my individual idea the following characters will be included; - The villain – Represented by the little girl and friend who was killed - The hero – amongst the group there is a couple and the boyfriend is the ‘main leader’ of the friendship group and shows acts of heroism. - The false hero – the best friend of the group leader - The princess/helper – The girl who is dating the group leader plays both of these roles as she aids the hero i.e her boyfriend therefore she is his ‘reward’ for being his girlfriend.
