What are you already doing? Hold onto the hand rail whilst using the stairs, don’t lift any heavy equipment up or downstairs. Only have one person use the stairs at once and make sure no one is messing about. Make sure the stairs are clear from any objects that could cause harm. Check the area of filming is safe from hazards such as logs and sticks which can be tripped over, the public is aware of us filming if done so near them. Check everyone is wearing a seat belt if supplied, the head rest is adjusted to the correct height, the vehicle has a dated MOT, road tax and driver has insurance, the driver isn’t under any influence whilst driving, the passengers aren’t distracting the driver in any form, driver isn’t using their phone or messing around with the radio whilst driving.
What further action is necessary? (write “none” if appropriate) Ensure there is a hand rail
Make the public aware of our filming, move any sticks and logs out of the way Drivers phone on silent, passengers in control of the radio, check all seat belts and head rests are securely fastened, the MOT, road tax and insurance is all covered before starting the journey, make sure the driver hasn’t touched any alcohol or drugs before driving.
Ensure the talent and our media group are walking on the pavement Make sure the talent and our media group check both ways before crossing the road and stay on the pavement. The talent is aware of the ponds location and is filming a good distance away Ensuring we are out of the way of cars and cyclists that may cause harm
