--I busti e i torsi hanno caratterizzato a partire dal Settecento la storia della sartoria e quindi della moda. Sono divenuti nel tempo oggetti iconici ma anche intoccabili, rigidi, lontani. La Rosa ha deciso di intervenire sulla forma di busto sartoriale apportando piccole ma efficaci modifiche alla vestibilità e introducendo nuovi elementi, come braccia articolate e estensioni della spalla, che ne adattano l’uso alle necessità moda di oggi. Nella nuova edizione, le collezioni storiche sono state riviste con materiali e finishing fortemente innovativi che ne cancellano la patina museale restituendogli la carica di innovazione che avevano quando sono stati creati e aprendoli a nuovi e inaspettati usi. Grazie all’approccio design busti e torsi diventano protagonisti del retail in una scena dove il negozio assume sempre più le sembianze di un museo di arte contemporanea.
Busts and torsos have characterized the history of tailoring and fashion from the 18th century to the present. They become iconic objects over the time keeping their traditional soul, untouchable, distant. La Rosa have reinterpreted its historical collections, Tailor set, Le Chic, Princesse, making as small as effective changes to the fitting, introducing new details such as articulated wooden arms and shoulders extensions making them perfectly fit with nowadays fashion. Historical collections have been revised by using highly innovative materials and finishes, changing the traditional museum mood into creative and innovative pieces as they were when originally created, giving space to new and unexpected uses. Thanks to the design approach, busts and torsos are becoming protagonists in the retail, where the shop is more and more a wonderful museum of contemporary art.

--L’idea di un manichino componibile che permetta più soluzioni e possibilità d’uso è alla base del progetto Modular. Il corpo, astratto, si scompone per ricomporsi secondo necessità e diventare un busto con o senza braccia, un supporto per pantaloni, per gonne e per intimo, un manichino con o senza testa. L’esclusivo metodo di aggancio multifunzione e la possibilità di usare finissaggi diversi per i differenti elementi che lo compongono, ne aumenta la versatilità ampliandone le possibilità di personalizzazione e di utilizzo.
The concept of a modular mannequin allowing several solutions and possibility of use is at the base of this project. The body, abstract, gets broken up to get re-composed according to the necessity and become a bust with or without arms, a stand for trousers, skirt and lingerie, a mannequin with or without head. The exclusive multifunctional hook system and the possibility of using different finishing for each of the single element composing the item, increase its versatility and expand the possibility of customization and use.
