19 September 1992 Hometown - Östersund, Sweden. Currently living in Stockholm. Hi! I’m an Architecture bachelor student at KTH royal institute of technology in Stockholm and this undergraduate-portfolio showing a selection of my most representative work over the last three years. I believe that architectures soul purpose is to satisfy and enhance the quality of life for all parts of society. Architecture is experienced in many ways and contains several different parameters. How the building is experienced from outside is one of those parameters but an aesthetically pleasing facade shouldn’t solely be the criteria for good architecture. The wholeness is key and one must find a symbiosis between the experiences in order to create something satisfactory. It is about how a building feels while you move through it, how it relates to the site, the choice of materials and much more. Good architecture to me is something that not only serves the specific purpose of a building but also enhance the quality of its own surroundings. I’m inspired by the human centered design and I want to use that as a tool to design buildings that pleases all the parameters of what I think architecture should be.

01 Rural public space Year three Course - Cityspace and landscape 17/01-2022 - 13/02-2022 Based on previous studies in city and landscape project 1, this project will further develop and delve into the project area by examining the public and private space and based on these create a room for the public The site is Hjälmare canal near Arboga, Sweden. The canal is Swedens oldest man-made canal built in the early 17th century. It stopped serving its original purpose as a fairway for the transport of goods in the seventies and is today more or less like an sleepy open museum and is mostly visitied by boat enthusiasts and leisure boats. the floating bridge is an attempt to attract the general public as well as the current target group. It will create an attraction to the place to bring it back to life and create a basis for further development.

02 The three Villas Year two Course - Material, space, detail 15/03-2021 - 25/05-2021 The assignment was to create three one family villas with three specific topographical conditions. One spanning a ravine with vertical walls, one lying completely underground and one hanging from a cliff. All three villas explored the relationships between statics, materials, construction, architectural shape and spatial formation.

Within a bridge Project conditions: - The building spans a ravine with vertical retaining walls - Ravine width: 25 m - Adjacent ground is flat A bridge with a well proven construction technology of an arch bridge made out of bricks. The design is a gesture to the ancient roman viaducts and and within the structure lands a mainfloor in wood that further leads you down to the arch which functions both as a platform and vertical movement

17

Underground Project conditions: - The construction site is level. - The ground is assumed to consist of soil - The building as a whole must be below ground level This underground house has a concrete construction to create a culvert-like system in semi-hexagonc shapes with a courtyard at every end to bring daylight into the rest of the house. Even if there is several blind alleys in this home the shape allows for a somewhat playfull and smooth motion all through.

Cliffhanger Project conditions: - The building must be attached to a vertical rock wall. - In addition to the attachments to the rock, the building as a whole must be outside the cliff. - Adjacent ground (solid bedrock) is flat. A scaffolding-like system completely in wood that anchors directly into the rock wall. Just like a birds cage. The house cointains of five stories with a stairwell that moves straight vertically through the whole building.

03 Transformation: House to dance studio Year two Course - Tectonics, ornament, transformation 18/01-2021 - 17/02-2021 We were divided in pairs and assigned to measure our home and create architectural drawings as a basis for our partner. Then, create a program of your own choice suggesting a transformation of some sort. I was given a two-storey in a residental area in rural Gävle, Sweden. The program said that the transformation should include a dance studio and have the feeling of a calm, relaxed garden party.

04 Library/cultural centre in Jordbro Year two Course - Structure, site, activity 28/09-2020 - 08/12-2020 Jordbro, 30 km south of Stockholm is moving and rebuilding their city centre and we were assigned to give a proposal for a new library and/or cultural centre on the new square. My proposal was an attempt to give back the area that the building’s footprint takes from the site back to the square and Jordbro while it creates a more dynamic and inviting place for people to gather and work. It’s achieved with a design of four ribbons which rises at one short side of the plot and is folded a few times each, to then meet the ground on the opposite short side. The composition forms an environment that can be imitated with a mountain landscape and has in several places transitions between the strips that make it possible for people to move over the entire surface that is lifted up from the ground. This landscape is completely constructed of wood and forms the roof of the building. Under the roof there are three floors that offer an open floor plan with the exception of the basement level which has a wreath that runs along the plot line with rooms for technology, logistics and association activities. The longer sides are exclusively glass-faceted to enable light to enter.

05 Sense reducer Year one Course - Composition, geometry, scale 26/08-2019 - 30/09-2019 The goal was to create a creation that reinforces or reduces one of the 5 senses. You should be able to wear the “sense amplifier / reducer” on or around your body. This, some artistic, task allowed me to work a free-floating shape and rythm that started with a conceptmodel in wood that seem to move even if it stands still. Lingering like a caterpillar. The conceptmodel resulted in a sense reducer made out of white cardboard that hypotetically would reduce sight and enhance the physical touch.

06 Goodenough park Architectural student competion: July 2021 Collaboration with Joel Stadius OKQ8 invited the architects of the future, today’s architecture students, in Denmark and Sweden to give their vision of the climate-smart, service-oriented station of the future with a high architectural quality. The proposal is based on what we consider to be the greatest needs in the service station of the future. When charging the car, the moment it takes to charge the car will be the most important moment to attract customers. A walk through a green park with a playground for the children and a co-working space where you can jump in and get that important meeting completed are important parts of our proposal. Like a hybrid between a rest area and a petrol station, but with an architecture that makes a forced break an enjoyable moment. The park must be in focus, lines of sight through the slats that make up the building’s and canopy roofs and through the arches that offer welcoming passages attract to the green oasis beyond the hustle and bustle of the road. Tired travelers get the leg stretcher they longed for here. The park extends over the roof of the main building and the car wash and also allows bicycle traffic in the immediate area to pass over the station. Sight lines through the building were important to us as the green area behind the barrier would be allowed to shine through the facade and attract a visitor. The slats that make up the construction are made of concrete. Cast in board form in thin slices, creates a beautiful contrast to the interior of wood and the vegetation outside

07 Reconstruction of a log cabin Private project Status: on going Site: Ytterån, Jämtland The customer has a log cabin that they currently use as a summer cottage. Their desire is to rebuild it to their permanent residence and expand by about 70 square meters. My suggestion is to build around the existing timber cottage and let it become its own room in the new building that embraces it and on top of it. It creates a clear contrast and hierarchy in the home where the log cabin stands for the closed, more private and the new building with the higher ceiling height stands for the open more public. On top of the cabin will there be a loft for extra storage and a guest bed. At the moment this is merely a proposal to the client but they have been positive about it and want to proceed with the process with the hope of starting construction in the summer of 2023.

08 Drawings One of mt favorite hobbies is drawing. I use lead pencils on regular paper and usually uses pictures as a reference and try to capture every little detail and at the same time create my own flair to the composition.
