Dear readers, As we created this magazine, we hoped that it would be able to serve you, and anyone looking for new local restaurants to try out, as a guide on Austin’s best cuisine. Ranging from barbeque to tacos, and pizza to hamburgers, we have written about many local restaurants and what they have to offer. During the process of making the magazine, we have interviewed many chefs, employees and owners of numerous restaurants to understand what type of food they serve and why. We learned how the owners began their businesses, and a few of the obstacles they had to face. We hope that our magazine will give you insight on just a few of Austin’s hidden gems that may be unfamiliar to you now, but your favorite place to eat in the future.
