THE RETURN OF THE CARPENTER CUP
On Monday, May 8th a cherished event aced its highlyanticipated return. The “Carpenter Cup”, named after Las Colinas founder Ben Carpenter, is a golf tournament between the three clubs in Las Colinas – Hackberry Creek Country Club, Las Colinas Country Club and the Four Seasons – now the Sports Club of Las Colinas.
This year’s tournament was hosted at the Las Colinas Country Club where each of the three participating clubs fielded a team of 18 men and 6 women. Representatives from each club played in a threesome format using a stableford quota system to determine the 2023 Carpenter Cup Champion Club.

Cacique Foods Moves Hq To Las Colinas

Cacique Foods, one of the leading brands in Mexican food products, has relocated their company headquarters to Las Colinas. Cacique made the move to deepen Texas connections and better serve customers in a centralized location, the company said. The food maker, known for its Mexican-style cheeses, cremas and chorizos, has at least one of its products in 80% of grocery stores across the United States.
Javelin Energy Partners Inks One Of The Largest Office Leases

Javelin Energy Partners is taking 70,000 square feet for its headquarters in the Las Colinas Corporate Center at the intersection of highway 114 and 161. A subsidiary of Crescent Energy, Javelin Energy is moving closer to DFW International Airport from its location on North O’Connor Boulevard in The Towers at Williams Square.

Boutique Hotel Planned Near Convention Center
The AC Hotel by Marriott will be built on a 2-acre site off of John W. Carpenter Freeway near Toyota Music Factory and Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. The hotel will have 147 rooms and will include a full-service restaurant, rooftop bar and more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space.
KELLY-MOORE PAINTS PRIMES FUTURE GROWTH WITH LAS COLINAS MOVE
Kelly-Moore Paints is moving their HQ from California to Las Colinas. For decades they have been based in San Carlos, south of San Francisco, but opened a North Texas manufacturing plant more than five years ago in Hurst. Kelly-Moore’s CEO said their Texas move is a jumping off point to spread through the eastern half of the country.

West Shore Home Plants Roots In Las Colinas
West Shore Home, a rapidly growing home improvement company, cut the ribbon for its new western headquarters in Las Colinas on June 7th. Its new 80,000-square-foot headquarters will serve as the home base for all the company’s business west of the Mississippi River.
