Preschool Garden

At the beginning of the school year, setting up the garden space with the children was fundamental in paving the way for the experiences we would have throughout the year. We established the garden as a place of wonder and exploration—a space we could co-construct together. The children observed, reflected, and were motivated to give meaning and definition to the garden every day.

COLLABORATION.

It’s where we make connections, collect data, synthesize new information, think critically, and ask questions. The garden is a place to see the beauty in others’ thoughts and ideas, making way for the retaliation of generative ideas as fundamental blocks of a collective construction. Our preschoolers see the garden as a place of imagination, a blank slate to create fantastical narratives inspired by the wonders of the natural world.
