Greetings, Sorors and Friends of the Great State of Georgia. As we are approaching the end 2022, we have made some historical strides that will make our Founders' proud. We convened in Philadelphia in July 2022. It is there, we elected our 26th International President, CEO Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant. The Sisterhood was charged with the review of the 10th Edition of the Constitution and Bylaws. This created a historic moment in Philadelphia we adopted the 11th edition of the organization's Constitution and Bylaws. As a result of this groundbreaking adoption of the 11th Edition. Each State within the Sorority will now elect for the first time their State Directors.

The State of Georgia is proud to say that Diamond Life Member, Soror Tecia A.M. McKay is Georgia's FIRST ELECTED State Director of Georgia. She is dedicated and committed to making sure the State of Georgia not only excels but exceeds. We continue to make history, as our Five Pearls intended for us to uphold a rich legacy of Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Finer Womanhood. We should continue to be proud of ourselves of the work we do in the name of Arizona Cleaver- Stemons, Viola Tyler Goings, Pearl Anna Neal, Myrtle Tyler -Faithful and Fannie Pettie-Watts.

Sorors, our work is not done, TORCHES UP and remember Zeta UP! Georgia Forward!

Greetings Sorors and Members of our Zeta Auxiliaries,

Welcome to our mid-flight of the 2022-23 sororal year. This is an exciting time to be a Finer Lady of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority, Inc. Additionally, this is the year we will celebrate the 75th Anniversary of our Amicae.

Some say it is “post-pandemic” while others are celebrating another “Blue Win” for the Georgia Senate race. We are all moving forward with a new International Grand, Dr. Stacie N.C. Grant, and new Southeastern Regional Director, our own, Soror Vicki L. Pearson, and I am humbled to be your first elected State of Georgia Director. For such a time as this, God has a plan for Georgia Zetas, Georgia Amicae, Georgia Zeta Youth, and Georgia Zeta Male Network. Each of us will “Embrace the Extraordinary” as we Zeta Up! Georgia Forward! This is the time to move forward with increased Training, escalated Organizational Infrastructure, improve as we Reprioritize Programming, escalate Culture, and always rise to Honor each other. Our Zeta Up and Georgia Forward is built to lift the TORCH! For the first time in Georgia Zeta History, we have increased the “boots on the ground” with shared ownership and shared knowledge to learn, grow, and impact the communities we serve. Our State of Georgia Executive Board and State Appointee cover EVERY corner of Georgia. We reach from Hephzibah to Valdosta and from Brunswick to Marietta and ALL POINTS in between!

Thank you for loving your sorority, ours by choice, as we transition with a new constitution and bylaws and continue to maintain our focus on increased membership and providing community service with Z-HOPE. At the end of the day, that is why we are all here . . . to support each other and uplift others.

Looking forward to seeing each of you in “The City of Cherry Blossoms” during our Georgia Leadership State Conference. Macon, the heart of Georgia, is ready to welcome each of us.

Greetings and Salutations to the Sorors, Amicae, Youth Auxiliaries, and Zeta Male Network of Georgia! It is my pleasure to continue to serve the State of Georgia as your Chair of the Executive Board. Georgia is a premier State within our beloved Sisterhood who is known for its service to our communities. Here in Georgia, we are a friend to man as the community-conscious, service-oriented organization that our 5 Peals' envisioned.

At my church, we are encouraged "to be the hands and feet o Jesus within our community". Now I know, we all have different faith beliefs; however, I do believe that as members of out illustrious sorority, especially here within the Great State of Georgia, we are and must continue to be the hands , feet, and VOICE of those in need who are unable to speak for themselves.

When I reflect on the theme "Zeta Up! Georgia Forward!", I feel encouraged to serve my community, intimately get to know out newly revised governing documents, and organize to continue to serve the community all year long. The legacy of the State of Georgia is secured and strengthened when we "Zeta Up!" to serve out communities by completing those community service projects, speaking out against injustice, and encouraging voting that willmove "Georgia Forward!".

So, my Sorors, Amicae, Youth Auxuliaries, and Zeta Male Network of Georgia, be encouraed, stay the course, and "Zeta Up! Georgia Forward!"
