A Whole New World Post Pandemic

Greetings, Sorors and Friends of the Great State of Georgia. As we end the 2021-2022 Sorority Year, the Zeta Train continues on its journey post Pandemic My favorite phrase has been, "We outside y'all!!" Most Georgia chapters and auxiliaries have transitioned from the virtual world back to being in-person, Over the last two years as we have served our communities and supported each other, we have learned how resilient and creative we are as an organization Now that we are back to being in person at chapter meetings, community service projects and conferences. The work that we have done as an organization has been phenomenal. The Social Media and Graphics Team would like to thank each of you for sharing your Zeta journey through your social media platforms. Now let's hear from the leaders in our State on their final thoughts for this Sorority Year. See you in Philly!!!

FROM THE DESK OF THE

GEORGIA STATE DIRECTOR

I want to thank each of you for your individual commitment year after year to promote and represent Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and its Auxiliaries. I do not take for granted the sacrifices and dedication that you decide to make in order to be a fully engaged member and to support the communities who are in desperate need of our help. It has been my honor to serve as your State Director.

Soror Vicki

FROM THE DESK OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA EXECUTIVE BOARD CHAIR

Greetings and Salutations my Sorors! I pray that you are well, enjoying your summer, and staying hydrated as you prepare for the 2022 Boule’ in Philadelphia. If you are like me, you have already started packing in preparation for what is sure to be an epic event of Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood. As I look forward to the conducting the business of Zeta in just a few short weeks, I also reflect on the tasks that await us in our communities when we return from Philadelphia

Sorors, we have been presented with an opportunity to have an “Esther Moment” For like Esther, “ we have been called for such a time as this” And I believe that “if we remain silent in the midst all of the adversity and turmoil that is around us, deliverance will come from somewhere else” (Esther 4:14). The legacy of our Founders’, our Five Pearls, is service in our communities So, yes, Sorors, prepare to conduct the business that will carry our beloved organization forward for the next 102 years. Pack your Robert’s Rules of Order 12 edition Delegates, pack the notes from your chapters in regards to voting And by all means, don’t forget your battery packs, comfortable shoes, and the amazing royal blue and white attire you have been saving to wear at Boule’. But, my Sorors, I charge you to also prepare for the work in our communities that we must do when we return home.

Now more than ever, we cannot become weary in the well doing Instead, we must stay the course of our Founders and be a friend to man as the community-conscious, service-oriented organization they envisioned.

Sorors, I look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia! I wish you safe travels to the 2022 Boule’.

FROM THE

OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA Z-HOPE COORDINATOR

DESK

Other People Excel (through Mind, Body and Spirit) is a holistic, multidimensional outreach program. One of the primary goals of Z-HOPE is to enhance, cultivate and empower participants to develop health-promoting lifestyle choices in all stages of their lives. ZHOPE targets five major populations (women, youth, men, seniors and international women of color) by utilizing a life-span approach to reach all people...from the young to the old, from prenatal to geriatric. Each targeted population is serviced by its local Zeta chapter or affiliate group through a holistic framework that focuses on the three essential elements of life: mind, body and spirit.

Greetings Sorors! Z-HOPE:

The chapters and auxiliaries in Georgia have had the opportunity to participate in many Z-HOPE activities this sorority year. Some of those activities were Mental Health, Autism, Elder Care, Adopt-a-School, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Military Appreciation Week, MLK Day of Global Service, Zetas Have Heart, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Programs and more.

Service is what we do! I love what I do! Serving as a GA Z-HOPE Coordinator has been such a blessing to me this year. Serving the community and making an impact in people's lives is an awesome feeling Many chapters in the State of Georgia have been recognized for all their hard work in their community. Being the Z-HOPE Coordinator has granted me the opportunity to work with several chapters and auxiliaries AWESOME Z-HOPE Coordinators from across the state. I would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication to ZHOPE. They truly hold a special place in my heart.
