Created for Downtown Summerlin’s Mothers Day Celebration
Step 1: Cut the Petals

Download the Paper Plumeria Template. Cut each petal, making sure to cut within the solid line to avoid showing the black outline. Cut all 10 petals first so you have extras in case a petal was not cut with clean edges. Pro Tip: You may also color all of the petals first before cutting them. Experiment on different ways that works best for you.
Step 2: Color the petals
Once the petals are cut, color the bottom, pointy part using an upward stroke. You may use pastel or regular school crayon. The goal is to have a gradual coloring that goes from a dark shade to a lighter shade. Color from the pointy tip of the petal and gradually go up about a quarter of the way. Use yellow as shown below or any other fun color you’d like! Repeat the same process on all ve petals.
*Pro Tip! I prefer to use pastel which is an oil based art medium so I can easily blend it out or with another color that I choose.*
