Day 1
LA PAZ - SANTIAGO DE OKOLA – SANTIAGO DE HUATA
Early in the morning we will pick you up to your hotel and we begin our trip, we will travel through the Altiplano (High Plateau). After a 4 hour trip we arrive to Santiago de Okola, where we will enjoy a delicious typical lunch. In the afternoon, we will hike to the famous sleeping dragon hill, a hill that still conserves the vestiges of the mineral exploitation, we continue with our walk until arriving at the top of the hill from where we can have a beautiful view of the Lake and surroundings. After the visit we will go to the town of Santiago de Huata where we will have our accommodation. Include: Private Transportation, Bilingual guide service (English-Spanish), Entrance tickets, 1 night of accommodation at Chuquiñapi shelter. Meals: Typical lunch, Dinner.
Day 2
SANTIAGO DE HUATA – COPACABANA
After breakfast, we will have the opportunity to sail on a Catamaran made by native people, this ship is sailed by the force of the wind, we will cruise on the bay where we will see the surroundings of this mystic place. Later, we will enjoy a walk crossing by foot on the waters of Titicaca lake, because there is a journey from the peninsula of Tajocachi to the bay of Sunata Island. It has a trail of 100 m, 1 to 2 meters wide.
Then we will go towards the Copacabana town where we will have the accommodation. Include: Catamarán , Bilingual guide service (English-Spanish), Private transportation, Entrance tickets. 1 night of accommodation in Hotel Perla del Lago or similar Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
COPACABANA – ISLA DELSOL - LA PAZ
Day 3
At 7:45 We will go to the beach where we will get on board of our boat to travel through the Titicaca Lake to the Sun Island, at its south part we will visit the inca’s archaeological site of “Pilcocaina Palace” an ancient palace built exclusively for the inca. Later we continue to Yumani, there we will visit “Escalinata Del Inca” (Inca’s stairs) which leads us to the “Fuente de las 3 aguas” (the Fountain of the 3 Watersheds). You will have some time to take pictures of the lake and the astonishing Royal Range of the Andes and we will go back to the boat to return to Copacabana, there we will make a quick visit to the town, enriched by the combination of the Andean and the Christian points of view, we will visit the religious sanctuary in honor of Candelaria Madonna, an important pilgrimage site for Bolivians. Finally walk by the town and its handicraft stores Return to La Paz Include: Private transportation, Touristic shared boat, Bilingual guide service (English-Spanish), Entrance tickets to archaeological site.
