The two-story facility will house the academic arm of Louisiana Tech’s Athletics department. The facility will include 14,300-square feet of conditioned space and an additional 8,000-square feet of nonconditional usable space that includes first- and second-floor balconies, food-service locations and restrooms.
Plans are for the first floor to be designed to be a multi-functional space for personal-growth and career-development programming. It will also include a food-prep station and a large open multipurpose area. The second floor will hold office space and state-of-the-art study environments including a computer lab.
Plans are also in place for areas of the facility to be utilized on home football game days as an area for former student-athletes to gather and socialize before games. It will also serve as an opportunity for additional revenue generation with premium game-day space.
