Once upon a time, in a land named Monodomain, there lived a boy by the name of Prince Akio the Brave. Prince Akio lived with his mom and dad... King Olorun and Queen Yemoja.
Prince Akio loved to spend time in his garden with his animal friends. Animals came from far and wide to spend time with Prince Akio in his garden. Animals loved spending time with Prince Akio. You see, Prince Akio had a special gift that allowed him to communicate with nature. He loved his animal friends dearly and they loved him. They were all one big happy family...
One day, Queen Yemoja came to the garden to inform Prince Akio of her plans for a trek. “I am going to visit Queen Osun. Your servants, the elders and King Olorun will all be here in case you need anything. Your father will be in deep meditation for the next day or two, so try not to disturb him. I’ll be back shortly. I love you, Prince Akio.” Prince Akio gave his mother a BIG hug and kiss and she was off.
The following day, Prince Akio was meditating in his garden when one of his servants interrupted him to give him an urgent message. “Your majesty, a powerful warlock has turned all of the citizens of the capital city into zombies,” she shouted. “The citizens of surrounding cities are panicking and the kingdom is descending into chaos! Shall we tell the King?”
Prince Akio remembered what his mom told him about his father meditating and said, “Let’s not disturb my dad. I’ll prove to him that I can solve problems on my own. Prepare my elephant for travel!”
Prince Akio and his servants, Tareqe and Alem, rode Mizan into the capital city of Asmara. They were shocked at what they saw when they arrived. Alem was right. The citizens were indeed zombies and the kingdom had began a descent into chaos. Even the babies were zombies!!!
Prince Akio, Tareqe and Alem continued to ride Mizan around Asmara and couldn’t believe their eyes. The cows, llamas and goats were out of their enclosures, chickens were running free around town and markets were left unattended.
The kingdom was in disarray. All of the citizens were wandering around lost with no purpose. No work was getting done. There were no smiles, laughter, or joy. Things looked bleak.
Alem burst out in to tears. “Don’t worry, Alem,” said Prince Akio as he comforted her. “ I will find who is responsible for this and fix this horrible mess.”
Suddenly, there was a really loud sinister laugh. “Muahahahaha!”
“Ya-ya-za-za-na-na-nine, first Asmara then all of Monodomain is mine!”
“I, Hizzy the Warlock will rule the world!”
At that moment, Hizzy hovered out of the distance and into the clear view of Prince Akio, Alem and Tareqe.
“What’s this?!?!” bellowed Hizzy. “Everyone in Asmara should be zombies!” “I see I have more work to do here!”
Alem and Tareqe were terrified. “Don’t be afraid, you two,” said Prince Akio. “Your prince will take care of you, I promise.” “Take Mizan behind the market.” “Don’t look Hizzy in the face.” “Be ready to do your duty when called upon.”
“For Monodomain!!!”
With that being said, Prince Akio jumped off Mizan and faced off with Hizzy.
“Cease, villain!” said Prince Akio. “You are trespassing!!! ...and have wronged the people of The Kingdom of Monodomain.”
“Muahahahahaha!!” laughed Hizzy! “How can I be trespassing on a kingdom that is soon to be mine?” “You have been misinformed, wicked warlock,” said Prince Akio. “These people and this land will never belong to you. Remove your spell then remove yourself from this land.” “I have grown tired of your babble young lad,” said Hizzy. “You are next to join my army of zombies.” Hizzy aimed his scepter at Prince Akio and fired. Prince Akio jumped out of the way and hid behind a wagon as Hizzy continued to fire.
“Muahahahaha!”
bellowed Hizzy.
Prince Akio had to think fast. He looked at the area around Hizzy and saw a few llamas grazing behind him. He also saw that Hizzy was near a tree with a beehive hanging from it. This gave Prince Akio a brilliant idea...
Prince Akio used his special ability to communicate with animals to relay a plan to the llamas and the bees. Hizzy was too busy focused on Prince Akio to notice the llamas move from their grazing area towards him.
Suddenly, one of the llamas charged Hizzy and head-butted him in the back. “What’s going on?!?!?!” shouted Hizzy, as he turned around. The other llama then spat in Hizzy’s eye. As Hizzy reached up to his eye with his free hand, several bees stung him on the hand holding the scepter.
“Arghh!!!!” Hizzy yelled as he dropped his scepter. “Now Alem and Tareqe!!” yelled Prince Akio .
Mizan burst out of from behind the market with Alem and Tareqe on her back, rambled toward Hizzy, smashed the scepter with her foot and knocked Hizzy far off into the horizon!
With the destruction of the scepter, the spell on the citizens of Asmara was broken... They were a bit dazed and confused but no longer zombies.
The citizens all rushed to the center of town, placed Prince Akio on their shoulders and began chanting his name.
“Prince Akio! Prince Akio! Prince Akio!
Not only did the animals love him, all of the citizens of Asmara did too. Asmara was able to live in peace and harmony from that point on....
